No recommendations from me, although seeing you post on the forum may or may not have just made me faint. 😉

Probably would have been best to send an email, but I’ll tag @aratrea too, for good measure.

OH, just one thing typographically related—no typos that I could see, but on the very first page when you say ‘welcome to the better books survey’, it might be more proper to have it Better Books s(S)urvey, unless you don’t really consider that a proper title.

@Daeus Really cool survey. I’m sure any serious readers to get their paws on it will be glad for a chance to rant. And it’ll be really interesting to analyze the results.

@WarrioroftheRealm The Count of Monte Cristo is a good historical fiction, with lots of intrigue though it’s not exactly political in nature.

@supermonkey42, @valtmy,…three INTJs????? is that even legal? I guess I should be thankful my sister is hardly ever on. I should also be thankful for the pause on the plans to overthrow @daeus, though in his kingdom I don’t have a powerful position…so, if y’all ever change your minds, I offer my services as long as I get some power.

3 things
first, it is a blessing to read all the encouragement on here
second, even if I don’t say that I’ll pray, I have it set up so that I always see the requests.
third, and my prayer request
I mentioned it a while ago, but it’s still going on. My uncle hasn’t seen his kids in over two years. His ex wife is allowed to keep them so long as…[Read more]

That makes zero sense, but okay. *snorts*
The article looks good, my overall complaint is that you throw a lot of terms around. Kate and I both made comments on this. My fear is that anyone coming at this not knowing how to create a theme like you explain will get caught up in the terms they don’t know, so elaborating on those definitions might…[Read more]

@dekreel Sorry, I just saw your question to me. I would be perfectly fine being in the story as Alia’s sister. But don’t feel pressured to put me in. I know I’m joining this whole thing late. I’m excited to read it when you’re done!

My mom told me that I used to sleep 12 hour nights from the day I came home from the hospital, so it is completely possible that this child could be sleeping soundly enough the whole time. I would just also mention cushioning inside the false bottom for the baby or else it may not seem as believable, especially if there is a lot of running and/or…[Read more]

do you watch any of the historical ones? My favorite is Dae Janguem. its a romance about the first woman doctor to the king.

@Ethryndal We just watched Rogue One, and *flails* CASSIAN!!!
For old times’ sake, you know. XD
But SERIOUSLY. O.o

HA!!! Oh my goodness, I love you. *recalls the twenty-two page email chain about RO*
We just went through all the Star Warses (how do you say that plural?) before Last Jedi came out, and… *flails* He really is a dear little grump.
And K-2SO…
“Do you want to know the odds of her using that blaster against you? They’re high. They’re very high.”
We went through all the Star Wars(es? Gollum-speak, maybe…) before TLJ too, except Rogue One since it didn’t HAVE to be seen before TLJ. So we just finally got around to watching it. Caroline and Douglas didn’t really flail over it, which makes me sad. But I have enough flails to make up for it, so *FLAILS*
YES. And him and Cassian.…[Read more]
(Oh, and except the prequels but that goes without saying. ;P)
You know, I’m really ashamed of those two. They just did not inherent good flailing genes. *shakes head sternly* Here’s a flail to join your flail to make up for their lack of flails.
*FLAILS*
“I thought I told you to stay at the ship!”
“You did, but I thought it was boring.”
HA, yes, Krennic’s grown on me too. What personality type, do you…[Read more]

“There were a lot of explosions for two people just blending in.”
INFP, I think.
There’s such variation within the kind…
NO. *vigorous nodding* And I think he’s an INFP too. MUCH variation within the kind. 😛 Did you have any ideas as to what he and Krennic were?
“I will help you, Jyn Erso… Because Cassian says I have to.”
*chokes* INFP? HA! That’s hilarious. I don’t think I would have guessed that for Krennnic. I can see it with Bohdi, though he always hit me as more of an E. Honestly, RO characters are really hard to type. Maybe because we don’t get to know them as well as other movie characters? I…[Read more]
Me either, until Kate elaborated, and then it made more sense. Slightly at least. And I know, especially ’cause Bohdi talks so much! I’ve thought maybe he’s an ENFP, but then he seems so…nervous and almost shy sometimes. I dunno. (But at any rate, I adore his and Galen’s relationship.) I think that’s a safe theory, about RO characters. A good…[Read more]
Awww, I know. They’re relationship was the best, even if there wasn’t very much of it.
I still think he’s an ISTJ… Reminds me of a hardened Horatio, what with being a stickler for rules and following orders and all that stuff. And his ability to compartmentalize death and the horrible things he’s done seems very Thinkerish, in my humble (and…[Read more]
HA! That’s hilarious. (Okay maybe not exactly, but…you get the point.) Poor us. I dunno. It’s always possible…we humans do tend to see things from our own individual viewpoints.
