Joseph curled up in his bed. He could hear the murmur of voices downstairs and knew that Noah and Darrien were holding one of their secret meetings with a few young men in the church. Sabina was in the other room, tucking in Asher and Eric. He could hear her gentle voice…

Oh I don’t think Sabina solved the long term problem either.
I think she is tired and stressed and just about at the braking point, and she doesn’t know what else to do beyond keeping the household from falling apart.
The emotional/spiritual aspect will be addressed later. She was just trying to find some way to keep the peace for the…[Read more]

It wasn’t long before Asher, Eric, and Alicia were also awake. The five sat silently in the bedroom, listening breathlessly for any sound from downstairs. At last, Alicia spoke. “Do you think I should go down there and check?”
Sabina shook her head. “Noah said to stay.”
“But i…

@koshka Thank you! :3 And yes, many tears involved XD (but yesss. I personally love books that make me cry😆). Pffffffft they always are: it’s just a given by this point🙄 I’d say Leon more than Riker in Book #2 tho, but then again, they’ve both broken me🫠

Well of course I’m reading it. XD
I wasn’t sure. I’m so happy though! I’ll tag you from now on.

(Good thing for you this is the 3rd draft and I’m not changing major plot points.)

oh my goodness! Thank you! I had no idea you were reading this! It makes me so happy!!!
Okay, I will keep those things in mind. Thank you!
I know, poor Joseph. I had no problem doing things to Aaron and even killing him before he could marry Sabina, but doing this to a little ten-year-old is kinda tough. lol.
