Most People would have been taken aback. But not Rory. Leo’s story sounded pretty normal. In fact, better than what he’d always known.

Rory began dropping all of the screws in a bucket, but his eyes constantly returned to Leo’s face as the older boy talked.
“what sort of things did you design?” He asked, his voice still quiet with hesitant caution.

exploring this younger Rory is so interesting!! He is who he is later on, but when he’s older things have been balanced and refined. He also has hope and he is more carting towards others. It’s just so strange to see him like this.
I want to write a book about him in this life stage.
