intense suavety
That’s a pretty good choice of words, I must say
Remington
Remington brandished his free arm in the air, his excessively laced sleeve waving about. His jacket, also laced, was cobweb gray, and helped him blend in when he needed to. It was also fashionable. That, the holy aim of all clothing, had no choice but to…[Read more]

Remington sounds fun. I am probably too tired to be doing this but here goes lol.
Wilhelm
“I…” He swallowed back whatever words were forming on his tongue. The stranger was an impressive figure, cheerful and domineering. His eyes almost glowed in their intense suavety. Wilhelm squared his shoulders. “Then what should I say?…[Read more]

Tis ok! Life can be like that sometimes.
Reúven
“Safety procedures? Like drills?” He paused. “There have been some fire drills, I think.”
He almost went on to say that he always assumed those fell on days he was absent, but that was far too much information. It was always better to keep things simple. He kept the rest of his…[Read more]

For context, this character is basically this roleplay’s version of an NPC. That’s not the right word, but I can’t be bothered to think of a better one. 😛 He’s part of the world itself and isn’t from any of my stories.

Lucille
Lucy thought for a moment. She jumped down from the crow’s back.
Runt’s nest was literally poorer than the other nest from before; there weren’t any jewelry or household items lodged in the branches. But there were some pieces of ribbon, twine, and something that looked suspiciously like long strands of hair.…[Read more]

Ah! Yes, poor thing.
I can bring him into the food area if I need to. I think he’s very lost at the moment.

I’m posting here to knock this back up to the top of the forum. It’s been little while, but I think we have a good setup if anyone feels like continuing the story. 🙃
Sorry to leave Wilhelm hanging! This must be remedied

Elishavet- yup! It’s the first destined book! And it’s just like the first draft I’ve ever truly “finished” like there are still scenes needing to be added and stuff, but it’s mostly cohesive
Yayyyyyyy! *happy dances* 🎉 🎵 This is so exciting. I’ve wanted these books written ever since you shared their mood oards. XD

1) I think this is from the Bible? I’m guessing the book of Ezekiel. It sounds Minor Prophety.
2) I have no idea.
3) This could be several people. Augh. I know the Captain from Tin-Tin says it, but as for anything more specific, I’m at a loss. It could also be Padra from the Mistmantle Chronicles.
4) Les Miserables?
5) It’s from Henry…[Read more]

1) “in the midst of the stones of fire you walked.”
2) “It will be rather a bore, I expect. Love and marriage, and all that sort of thing, is rather a necessary nuisance in its way.”
3) “Blistering barnacles!”
4) “Be off with you, or I’ll blow up the barricade!”
5) “Soldier, why wear’st thou that glove in thy cap?”
6) If you tell stories, you…[Read more]

Oh yes, Portals! I should read more of it. The bit I read was delightful.

I probably should not be as comforted by that as I am.
Published authors have probably felt the same about their stuff. If that’s not comforting, I don’t know what is. 😛
And I spelled it differently, so there. XD
Problem solved

Portals: When My Story Ate Me. The serial story I’ve semi-periodically shared on here. I should work on HoA(Viktor’s story), but I have zero motivation for that one. They’re just sitting in a friend’s shop at the moment waiting for their parents to find them. Portals is a more manageable size, so little bites first.

I love collecting ideas from novels published between from the 1910s-50s. Mostly 40s and 50s. I keep notes from them in a notebook and I’ve done this for months; it’s a lot of fun. I often collect dialogue because there’s something very identifiable about fictional dialogue from that time.
Oh, I like this idea. That is epic. I’ve n…[Read more]

Stopping at :59. I got 442 words in an hour. Not wonderful, not terrible. I think I like where this section is going.

I’m working on Portals and/or contract stuff. It’s late here, so I won’t be on for long but thought I’d give myself some accountability.
