Lol. Do that then. It was about the fifth time I got lost reading that book, and the library wanted it back before I managed to find my ground again. I apretiate his detailed planning though. Lots of skill.
My family likes the Focus on the Family radio theater edition.

That would be neat!
I like the doodles. Baby Marcel is cute. Does his culture not cut a boy’s hair until he’s in knickers/four/weaned/school age? (I think I mixed several cultures in that oddly specific question..) (He reminds me of Little Lord Fontleroy, only smug.)

Yep and yep. Agree 100%
And…
Not the Waterloo tirade. XD I never found my interest in his books again after getting lost somewhere between the ditch with the cavalry and the dead guy who wasn’t actually dead.

Oof. I recently hit a crisis in my art that filled a Pinterest board with skeletons, proportion guides, and the old watercolor illustrations that started this whole goose chase. It’ll likely be stuffed with color theory stuff sooner than later.
I’m on a mission to learn how to draw right.
I’ll probably never reach that, but if I…[Read more]

This was something my brother started:
Every night (except for Friday and most often Sunday and Saturday) during the beginning part of dinner, everyone takes 2 mintues to say something about their day. That could be anything from a work announcement, some encouragment they learned from the Bible, some animal/anything speical they…[Read more]

Yes. Knowing why we do things is so important!
Oooh! I forgot about the Sunday one! My family doesn’t have a “rule” about that one, but we all know Sunday is a day of rest and fellowship. I’ve actually been starting to not use computers on Sunday. Now, there are expections…last week my sister and I were creating some stickers on a…[Read more]

Thanks! I’m glad.
Okay, I’ll see what the others think. I liked it as a nice recap of everything that was happening.
Erich is one of the Stien children. He’s married and has a kid. They were the family that Julian, Roland, and Aelic were staying with when Rolf and Leon caught up with them.

Oooooo!!! I like your thoughts!!! Yes, I do have a weakness for armor. Go Lieutenant Roth and his guys!
(though one does start to wonder what’s going to happen when those soldiers came in contact with orders to hunt down the believers……)You’re planning a plot twist for the series as a whole.
Interesting…..
There are s…

Well, thoughtesss…
It’s a dark before dawn thing. Maybe playing with the idea that the Empire has long, dark winters.
Fabulous armor. I love it. I’m happy done of the soldiers were saved so we can root for some of those suits of armor…. But there’s probably more bad guys in armor than otherwise.
The government is going to…[Read more]

Ah, I see.
Okay yes, that makes sense. I tend not to write heaven scenes. (I always cringe for that scene in Les Misserables) I don’t know why, but I like to keep clear. Hmm, interesting with the Aaron comment. I’m interested what makes you think that.
I don’t mind Screwtape or Warden and the Wolf King, I like how both of those were…[Read more]

Yes! How did you know about CR?
CR will be released this spring! Super excited about that.
Oh boy. It looks like we’re in for . . . something. I’m starting to be concerned for your characters.
what makes you say that!?

Woah! Hi!
1)There will be mob fights.
Not sure where you go that from the board, but interesting guess…………
2)Nearly everyone we love will get hurt.
why would you ever think that?! 😢
🤣
3)Leon and Jullian’s pasts will come back to haunt them.
🤔
4)There will not be a plane crash, or a nuclear war.

Thanks. I’ll try to keep that in mind.
Oooh. Moodboard.
Lots of wolves it there. It looks like you reused several pictures from last time. But less this time as well.
Yes, I wanted it to still feel very connected to the last one.
Any ideas/thoughts/predictions?!

I know….. but I’m currently on a good flow with a different book I’m writing….. and I have been swimming in gravel on it up until now. Look, let me finish the chapter and then I’ll try to post something.
