It’s fascinating how much the king trusted Haman. The king just took his word, and handed over control (his signet ring) to Haman. He probably hid what exactly he was doing (killing all the Jews) from the king, and that’s why you see Haman and the king sitting down for a drink together while the rest of the city was thrown into confusion.

@jenwriter17  I thought Esther’s obedience was pretty awesome too, I love how she continued to obey Mordecai even after she was made queen.

I’m still a little bit disappointed that the real story of Esther isn’t quite like the Veggie Tales version. 😉

@skredder  I think it depends on the prayer. If it’s mocking or unnecessary, then it seems blasphemous. But if it’s sincere, and serves a purpose, then it isn’t. I’ve noticed when prayers in books seem forced and unnecessary to the character’s growth they feel blasphemous.
