@kathleenramm Lol, no stress! Welcome to the party!!! Apparently there’s a lot of tea and coffee being passed around! 😉
I was obsessed with all the Barbie films when I was younger (may or may not still like them)! One of my favorites was Barbie and the Three Musketeers and I also loved the Diamond Castle one! I have no idea if that means…[Read more]

Okay. I know that there are times when I feel 0% inspired, need a laugh, or someone to talk to. Welp, this is the place for that! Share inspiration here, funny memes, anything. (I’m kind of obsessed with building up the writer community XD) Hope this counts as a topic, I just want to make sure that people can come here to be inspired or for memes.…[Read more]

@kathleenramm “The mysteries of the forum”…that sounds like something I could get into haha! Lovely scenario, by the way!
@hobbitchild Aw, I hope you get your money back! But I hope you had fun, at least!
@ribbonash That sounds really nice! I get what you’re feeling!

Well, that’s a little difficult to say… Maybe a year? I’ve sort of had these characters in mind for maybe two or three years, though. I’m hoping to finally finish it by the end of 2021! *fingers crossed*

Thank you! He’s from my current fantasy WIP, the twin brother of my main character. He’s one of my favorite characters from my book.

@kathleenramm @anyone-else-raeding-this
First of all, I honestly doubt my MC (her temporary name is Mejia – My-juh – because I have some kinks in the name’s origins that I need to work on) would even consider coming out of my pen into 2021 for all the secrets in Birch Woods.
So as the author, I would probably have to disguise myself as a…[Read more]

Hmmm. Okie, so we’d probably end up going to one of my fav places, or getting fast food 🤣.
my Main protagonist Ara and I would probably get along well because some of her struggles are based off of mine.
But her personality is slightly different. Whereas when I’m in my group and such I can be (and am) very loud, excitable and…[Read more]

I don’t know who is my MOST favorite in this WIP, but I know that Marian, Fabian and Jade definitely are among the higher ranking ones… but some for differing reasons.
- Marian, because she came from my elf-craze when I was eleven and has floated in and out of stories like a homeless woman until now.
- Jade, because I enjoy his…

@kathleenramm I’d say that I pants most of my works to a certain degree, but this is the one I definitely went the least with plotting on. When I started it I literally went, “I dunno what’s happening. Let’s find out.”

Oh, most of those illustrations aren’t mine, just the collage artwork (the composition of the images). But the one above this post is my illustration.
Though it probably doesn’t seem like it, I’ve been drawing since I could hold a pen. And ever since, pens (digital and ink alike) have been my first choice in illustrating and I’m…[Read more]

@gracie-j I love this idea!!!!!!! I’m going to start working on my box right away. Like @kathleenramm said, I’ve been thinking about doing a scrapbook that is themed after my WIP.

I did, indeed, use artist markers! 😀
My tip for markers would be to get ones that aren’t just cheap Dollarama, and look at tutorials or people’s art who use them. I use Copics (arguably the best brand of marker out there) and have done research on them. I love how smoothly they blend; you can blend all kinds of colour and they don’t…[Read more]

Yikes… I’m sorry to hear you have the same problem! 🙁 Pacing is a mystery, that’s for sure 😀
Oh, I know, right? Character arcs in general are wonderful, but redemption arcs? Even better. I like them so much that I included it for one of my characters, Newton.

Honestly….I feel as of right now my biggest headache is drafting lol. I know some ppl say it’s their fav part (and with my personality you’d think it’d be mine too) but I’m hoping I like editing more because I’ll get to see it coming together as what I want it to be. Oh my flying flapjacks, this is a hard question. For starters, I’ll tell you about my joys of writing. I think of all of my fictional characters as my friends, so I get excited to see how all of them progress throughout the book and how every character arc unfolds. I like to see how they redeem themselves and become better people. I…[Read more]

My biggest headache in writing The Snow Warrior, has lasted for years now. I have no plot. No matter what method I try, I just can’t think of a good plot for the life of me.
My biggest joy however, is interacting with my characters. Each one has a unique position and purpose in my story and each of them have such…[Read more]
