Wow, this looks amazing! I don’t know if I’ll be beta testing, but I’ll definitely ask my parents about signing up for the course, when it’s been released. I’m glad to know it’s self-paced, because I have a habit of taking a long time on these things 😉
Thank you, guys, for all the effort you put into helping all us writers…[Read more]

My Fellow KeePers:
For many moons now, the Kingdom Pen team has been working behind the scenes to craft something truly extraordinary. KeePers have shared many battles together. Throughout them all, one ideal has eluded us time and again: how we might best share the profound truths of God without torturous cheesiness. At one time or another, we…[Read more]

What if his “full, official” title is the Silver Spark/Flame of Dimwood, and everyone just shortens it to the Silver Spark/Flame? By the way, I see your point about going for spark rather than flame, but as @dragon-snapper said, it’s quick and passing. But I love how he rebels and wears silver. 🙂
Other words for “spark” and “flame”…[Read more]

I like Silver Spark or Silver Flame…all the names are cool, really, but I like the meaning and things you could do with Spark/Flame. I really like Dimwood too, but that might be a bit long for a name.

@ethryndal This sounds as if it’s really coming together 🙂 I hope you’ll be letting us read it? 😀 😉

@ethryndal I never once thought of rodent when reading Rodyn. 🙂 Also, glad you liked the pun 😉

@northerner Lol, I agree, he is a great character – I don’t see anything wrong with making the title of a Robin-Hood-character be a fox (unless the creator of said character didn’t want to of course 😉 ) It’s like a nod to the ones already existing and kinda continuing the tradition *shrugs*

@northerner The Disney Robin Hood was a fox, and also Nick from Zootopia, and he was very “charming,” witty, bold and reckless 😉

What about something like “The Angels’ Thief” or “Thief of Angels”? lol, or “Thy Rodyn, Thy Staff, they comfort me” – absolutely not! (me with the punz…. 😛 But I couldn’t resist)
Is he elusive? Like, he helps people, but doesn’t really show himself, so no one knows what he looks like? He could be like “The Invisible Angel” or “The Invisible…[Read more]

@ethryndal I love the word ‘blade’. Like The Black Blade or the Glittering Arrow. Ok, so maybe those aren’t the best. But a cool name with ‘blade’ or ‘arrow’ could be fun.

@dragon-snapper Write about the adventures of a lost coin and where it goes and what it’s used to buy and things like that.
Also, this site has been a help during my “writing-droughts.” There’s lots of prompts and generators that have given me a few little ideas.

@Rolena-Hatfield The government would probably try to take children away from Christian parents, claiming they aren’t able to raise them themselves. At the very least, they’d probably make kids go to public school, where they’d be pressured to give up religion.
Drawing from history, there are governments who forbid teaching about Christianity to…[Read more]

@northerner I really like that too. Does Isaiah mind if I decide to use it?

@aysia-serene UNITY is the name of the microchip
@northerner Hmm, I like that. The tracker is inserted into the arm. Right now it is new, so everyone will receive it but, in the future, it will be inserted in the first year after birth.
It can track people, so friends can keep track of each other. Though they can also turn it on privacy mode.…[Read more]

@gideon-sowdon Well, it depends how it’s done, but if it’s made fairly obvious when you switch POVs and give each one a unique voice for each unique character, I think it would work well. I have read one series where each chapter was a different first-POV of two siblings, and they started each chapter with a certain font to show which sibling was…[Read more]
