Hi KeePers,
I want to create a little gift for my subscribers. The question is: what would be the best gift to give? I’ve put together a little survey if you have a moment.

Tagging @Ethryndal because she’s the bestistest friend a human being could ask for and life would be really strange now without her in it, PLUS she gave me my non-writer penname, Pamela Norificous the 78th. *uber-serious nod* Pal, you’re the best, who cares best of what.
Also tagging @Kate-Flournoy. I see a common theme here… 😂 Nevertheless,…[Read more]

Tagging @Emma-Flournoy because she’s the bestist friend a human being could ask for, a literature enthusiast and wonderful ranting-partner. Pal, you’re the best non-writer KP’s ever had the pleasure of knowing.
And @Kate-Flournoy (yeah, yeah, I know you’ve already been tagged twice. Don’t let it go to your head, Bighead), not because you’re a…[Read more]

Tagging @kate-flournoy because she is now one of my best friends, and her writing wisdom goes beyond what I think she even knows herself. Seriously, read some of her blog stuff at the Inky Notebook. Amazing.

The GIF-Hiders: An Easter Story
Part Five: The Cart at the Edge of the Forest
“Wild troll-things?” Jenna wondered to herself as she soared on Kai’s back through the night.

Several minutes later, she was at the edge of the Vivid Green forest, the largest wood on the island. The ankle-high grass shone white under the radiant, full moon (whic…[Read more]

Hi everyone,
So for a novel idea I’ve been struggling with for some time, I have the protagonist learn different things over the course of the story. The central theme would be selfishness, but at the moment I’m not sure if all that I have going on is too complicated for one book.
Here’s a synopsis: My protagonist is selfish and by circumstances…[Read more]

Part Four: The Young Man with the Extension Cord
“Two… thousand… GIFs?!”
“But of course! There are nearly six hundred Kapeefers on this island.”
Jenna stammered, “I-I can’t hide two thousand GIFs all over the island in o…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy I literally screenshotted that mini-essay of yours, it was so helpful xD
@joy I’m actually wondering about some of these things, too, so I’m afraid I don’t have anything for you. I’ll just hang around and see what other people have to say. 🙂

@joy Yeah, worldbuilding can get tough sometimes for me. It’s easy to fluctaute between way too much and not enough.
Umm… @kate-flournoy, whenever you get around to writing that book about worldbuilding, be sure to send me a link and I’ll probably buy a copy to keep in each room of my house… 😀 I need to know what you know.
@joy besides what…[Read more]

The GIF-hiders: An Easter Story
Part Three: The Flight to the Castle
That afternoon, Jenna opened the door of her house to a whooshing noise just outside, and she gasped at the sight of a sleek, dark red dragon, peering at her silently with yellow eyes.
Jenna’s mouth couldn’t help but fall open, even after hours of mental preparation. But now…[Read more]

Hey guys. I’ve run into a problem.
Over the past year or so, my story has changed drastically from what I originally intended—and I’m not even done writing it yet. I started out aiming for a specific end result, but as the story progressed, different plot threads would virtually appear on my page, helping fix certain issues, but also altering…[Read more]

Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.

I read that Proverb in my quiet time this morning and it really stuck out to me :D. Those who are skilled, work hard and diligently will stand before kings…that’s pretty amazing, though I don’t think it always…[Read more]

Heya, Kapeefers. Early warning: this is kind of a deep post
I need some help… Lately I have been seriously self-doubting myself and my ability to write, and comparing myself to other writers.
I write because I love story-telling, not because I want to be published (although that would be kinda cool). I just want to write stories. And I don’t…[Read more]

@daeus Goodness, I really didn’t intend on being that philosophical, but…yeah. That pretty much sums up how I’m feeling right now.
@aratrea I know…crazy. It’s been quite a ride.

Whoa. Mixed emotions. This is different
5% of me is going: “Cool!”
Another 5% of me: “OMIWORD I KNOW HER NAME!”
90% of me: “NoOoOoOoOO, I liked your dragon self! CHANGE BACK!!” *starts crying*
XD I’m keeping my name up, but you two win. I’m a dragon again. 😛 @sam-kowal @dekreel (I think I like it better too. LOL) I can’t change my profile picture without a revolt, can I?
I actually did not mean to sound that heartbroken XD I was moody when I wrote that. But fair enough XD
@dragon-snapper
@dekreel XD Don’t worry about it. On here, I’m a dragon. It must stay that way forever. AND EVER!
