*appears from nowhere*
The flaw I see in that argument is the second premise. You have to accept some sort of multiverse theory where every possibility exists in some reality. Furthermore, if the definition of “all powerful” includes being able to influence all realities, then would said being not be preeminent over all real…[Read more]

Except they decided to just make her pure evil in Multiverse, lol. That just didn’t feel natural.

I felt like it just completely undermined WandaVision. I also don’t like how they just kept making Wanda’s motivation be that she lost someone. I don’t want to spoil anything for RAE, so I can’t be more specific, but hopefully you get what I’m referencing.
-
Yeah I get that, I think WandaVision was a very well written show
But Multiverse of madness felt like they were just copying the same arc for her!!!! Which is when it got really annoying-
Except they decided to just make her pure evil in Multiverse, lol. That just didn’t feel natural.

Yeah it was definitely a flawed movie

I already miss Tony… After Endgame, I went and watched Iron Man 3, and it…was good. My big brother and I watched Ant-man 1, now Scott is on my fav list.

@rae Now that you’ve seen Endgame, would you, or anyone else care to discuss this opinion of mine: Endgame was good but was not a worthy follow-up to Infinity War. I’ll let someone else reply before I tell you why I think this is. Note that I still like Endgame, but it had some flaws that don’t pay off Infinity War in my opinion.

@jonas
I will say I like infinity war better, (even though Bucky dies 😭, and Peter! Vision too) maybe because it left me more on the edge of my seat than Endgame. Endgame has some good values that it portrays rather nicely, in my opinion. Old Steve makes me cry, but then the ending scene of him and Peggy 💗. I forgave him. Idk, I like infinity war…[Read more] -

In my opinion they shouldn’t have gone to time travel for Endgame. Time travel breaks universes and creates plot holes. For example, the Avengers could have just time travelled back to steal pym particles right away, and then had plenty of fuel to go steal each stone individually at an easier point in time. I also don’t really like how the…[Read more] -

Yeah, I wasn’t a fan of the time travel, but hey, a lot of people are. And, to give them credit, they did visit it in a new and exciting way.
I actually like that they resolved Banner off screen. I think it was more like Banner for that to happen.
As far as the power level thing, I del like with many superheroes,…[Read more]

@smiley Oh, Multiverse of Madness is awful! That’s the last one I watched. It was then that I realized that Marvel was no longer capable of making a decent movie.

We did them as a family read-aloud. That was probably at least seven years ago at this point. (We started to listen to the audiobook during long car rides a year ago, and we got through the first book and the first few chapters of the second, but for some reason, my younger brother was being obstinate about “not liking” them and we had…[Read more]

I remember liking it. In my opinion, the first one is decent, but not great, and each one gets better than the previous one. The last two especially were really good, although I don’t remember too much about them at this point XD.

Short answer: no.
Technical answer: yes.
I think there’s always going to be things in a character’s past that shapes them later on, but they might be subtle things that are not explicitly stated, or even specifically defined by the author.
A lot of my characters also don’t really have “backstories,” meaning they start out without h…[Read more]

Well, I guess that conversation is over. Riina might just be sulking the rest of this scene, so she might not show up again until we move on. I’m not sure how much longer we’re planning on making this part.

Junior also managed to penetrate Riina’s layer of casual flamboyance. When that happens, she lashes out.
Riina
Riina heard Junior’s knife clatter to the ground, but she didn’t turn around. Huh. So he actually felt that. Well, serves him right.
She strode through the portal and closed it behind her.

Riina
Riina recoiled as Junior burst into an angry rant. She clenched her fists. She felt like doing something mildly violent, like giving him a good shove, or punching him through a portal, but she didn’t want to be responsible for setting off a rampage.
“You know what?” she snarled at him through gritted teeth. “You’re not just prideful,…[Read more]

The magic cabinets are from the series 100 Cupboards by N. D. Wilson. Light’s story is a continuation of a story from the Wingfeather Tales book, which was some sort of crossover with 100 Cupboards.

HighScribe is correct. That is how you spell ricochet.
Riina
Riina couldn’t help but think that Junior was not entirely stable. She scowled.
“Whatever authority you have back home doesn’t count here, genius,” she informed him. “If it did, then I would outrank them to, but clearly they disagree. And so what if you accidentally hurt yours…[Read more]

I think the world was made up for this RP. @Rae has been in charge of it mostly, and owns seven or so characters that are from this world.
