Sorry this is taking me so long to edit through this but I think I have editing figured out now. Cutting down the POVs to just Alex, Chase, and Cele. Finally letting go of the VR beginning that I was stubbornly clinging to. If you realised something about the whole VR please tell me cuz in my mind it only foreshadows book two and I don’t want to…[Read more]

@jess-penrose you said you were going to send me some things in passive voice?
@alia Yay for your friend!
@daughteroftheking AND OUR KEYBOARDS ARE DUSTY AND COVERED IN SPILLED DRINKS BECAUSE WE CAN BARELY SEE AND HAVE TO LEAN TOWARD THE SCREEN TO SEE WHAT WE ARE WRITING!!! AND WE HAVE GONE CRAZY OVER MISSSPELLED WORDS AND HOW THEY CHANGED THE…[Read more] -

Are either of you around for a writing session/word war?

@seekjustice @jess-penrose Do either of you want to have a quick word war before I go to bed? I’ve got to get a little more written tonight! 😉

Rochellaine, thank you for your sympathy for Rin, though she would’ve probably wanted the chocolate 😛

@seekjustice Why don’t you come visit us in America? It’d be fun! 😀 (Have you ever traveled out of the country? I have, once.)
Yeah, your characters are so mixed up. 😛
@jess-penrose Thank you! She’s hungry, so a pizza will be helpful. Character arcs, yes! 😀
Sorry, but I’m going to go to bed now. It’s really late! 😉 I’m going to be up…[Read more]

@seekjustice Oh yes! Now I remember I was laughing with my sister the other day over the fact that Quillon says “Gracious goodness, it hurts!” when he gets shot. We were laughing because that’s my sister’s particular exclamation, and I always tell her she says it backwards, since most people say “goodness gracious.” So I do remember from the la…[Read more]

Research on these topics has been ethical
Haha. Disclaimers are always necessary, aren’t they? 😛
Okay, thanks. That’s good to know. But now I have a dilemma. Can I convince myself that it’s really okay if one of my characters is starved, or will I be too softhearted? That’s nearly as bad as killing them!
@seekjustice Afte…[Read more]

@seekjustice Ohh, it’s going so slowly! 🙁 I think perhaps soon, but I’m not sure yet.
Well, I was thinking it would be cool if sometime in Stars Justice got really frustrated with Kendall and told him something like “You’re just as bad as my cousin!” 😀 Or if he accidentally made the connection in the sequel and realizes that Zac might tur…[Read more]

*tucks information away for a time that shall come* I’ve never tortured my characters by food deprivation. Could be interesting. Quillon would not cope.

@jess-penrose Oh, that happens to me far too often. 🙁 Glad you’re back! And very glad you aren’t planning on letting Connor “drop dead.” That would be awful. I have enough to deal with trying to keep emotionally stable when reading SeekJustice’s book and I really don’t need to hear of any more characters dying. 😀 😀

Hey, I’m back here now!
Thanks, it went really well and all the old people really loved it 😀 I do Scottish Highland dancing (Sword dancing, you know 🙂 ) I love writing at the library. It’s so quiet with no siblings 😀

@jess-penrose Oh, poor, poor Connor! 🙁 My MC just had a panic attack and passed out. Now she’s better, thankfully.
Here’s a clip from a while back right before she passes out:
As she looked out at the road all she could think of was Hot. It was so hot. Suddenly her mind flashed as though she was back on the road, stumbling, gasping, hop…

@jess-penrose Oh, whoops! haha. 😀
Well, I’m having the opposite problem that you have! 🙂 I’m a very slow writer, possibly because I took off two years in which I did basically no writing and only started up again a few months ago, so it’s taking me a while to get back in the swing. So I set a low goal for Camp NaNo, but I’m still behind a l…[Read more]

@jess-penrose Not so great. 🙁 But right now I’m taking a break to look at Alia’s speech for her. Maybe when I get back to writing after that it’ll go better.

I’m glad to help! So, due to some problems on my end of the line, I can no longer edit the Google Doc. Well, I can sometimes, but the weird thing is, some days my computer can connect, some days it just won’t. I can still read it, and offer some general critiques, but I can’t comment. Is that ok?
For general stuff it might be easier to post it on the thread I created (I shall dig that up), but I replied to some of your comments so for that and pointing out exactly where things are you could comment on the doc.
I have it anyone with a link can comment, if you can’t comment you can request access. If you can’t do that I can change the link…[Read more]
@daughteroftheking you can contact me through my blog and I can give you access.

Sorry I’m late! (again!) I still have access, the problem is just my own computer being inconsistent. I can still comment most of the time, but I wanted to warn you that Google Docs and I are not the best of friends right now. 😛 I’m going to put beta reading as part of my school schedule (yay for homeschooling), so hopefully I can be more…[Read more]
I see. If it keeps happening you can email me and I’ll add you directly.
Yay homeschooling!
It’s been a month so I started my next draft. But it’s coming very slowly… I may editing it on the draft you have access to. Chapter one nearly done. So you can try and get me to work faster. 😉
Thanks! It tis a grand song.
