@jenwriter17 Yay! What are you working on?
My brother is singing,
“Hannah logged in one night,
and got in a fight,
with her friends in Australia.”
*eyeroll* I don’t think I’ve had a fight with my friends in Australia. 😛 ( @seekjustice What do you think of his ‘song’ (it’s not really song since it’s a repeating chorus. XD ) -

I’m actually working on writing my book. 😀
Anyone else on? -

Dodgy is such a great word though. Basically everything can be described as dodgy. The Americans really don’t know what they’re missing out on.
Mary Poppins, as in the actual book, was written by an Australian though. I wonder if Bert describes himself as a bloke in that 😛
By the way, I’m working on my editing at the…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 Ooh, that sounds cool. Do you own a horse yourself? I’ve actually been getting back into photography lately. It’s always fun to experiment with different techniques.
I guess I’m most looking forward to the amount of freedom I’ll get in comparison to school. And as someone who struggled to make friends in the school system, I’m hoping…[Read more]

Chessy is definitely fight, I think. Yilla is more of a survivor, so she’d do whatever seemed best to survive. She wouldn’t be afraid to fight or ashamed to run away.
I need to go for now, but I’ll give you one more question:
If you had to choose an actor to portray your character, who would it be?

SeekJustice replied to the topic Writers' Corner #22 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 1 month ago
Oh, and for my question,
What real world famous person would your character admire deeply?
-
SeekJustice replied to the topic Writers' Corner #22 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 1 month ago
Hmm…that’s actually quite difficult, but let me think about it…
I’m having a hard time thinking of one for Chessy, but for Yilla I’d say Katniss, even though I actually haven’t read The Hunger Games.

If your character could change one thing about their physical appearance, what would it be?

valtmy replied to the topic Writers' Corner #22 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 1 month ago
Oh I would love to! The character game is really fun. But I have to go. 🙁
Haha yes. Your story may be inspired by Les Mis but you’re not going for that. 😛 Though I’m think there may at least be some really, really minor characters (some that don’t even have names?) that even Hugo overlooked?
I’ll be going off now.…[Read more]

Sure!
Unless you for one of those epic tomes (*cough* Les Mis) which relates the entire backstories and futures of every. single. character 😀

I always end up feeling sorry for such characters. Because God has plans for each and every person in this world. But for our own characters, we often really don’t due to our limitations. 😛
Hello. Not working on anything. Just on the way to work. 😛

@jenwriter17 @rochellaine @catwing @valtmy
I have an hour all by myself in the library (no siblings! No distractions! *glances guiltily at all the books*)
I’m going to try to take a chunk out of my outline. Anyone wish to join me?

@seekjustice Hello! Your name seems pretty familiar, but it’s always a pleasure to see another of our kind on the interwebs. 😛
@rochellaine And that is very true. During my online life, I’ve found a lot of differences in my writing from most others. Stuff like the spelling of kerb and curb, then words that are completely different, like…[Read more]

Goodnight then 😀
Those ideas sound pretty cool though! I like it 🙂 I’ve always wanted to do a retelling of the Snow Queen as well, but I’ve never had a great idea that didn’t sound like Frozen 😛
@jenwriter17 What are you working on at the moment?
-
Catwing replied to the topic Writers' Corner #22 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 2 months ago
@jenwriter17 Thanks.
Yes they can. D:@seekjustice The Rapunzel one may turn novel length… Cause it’s not just a Rapunzel retelling. In the Snow Queen there is a witch(she won’t be a witch though) who tries to keep Gertha. She has a magic garden where it is always spring. She wanted to keep Gertha as a daughter like Gothel and Rapunzel. So I’m…[Read more]
