Thank you!
*Having snooped through all the rest of this board*
I love that you’re writing stories during the healing period after WWII! I haven’t found many good books set in that time (well, besides a couple nonfiction stuff, but anyhoo).

Here’s a collage for a novella I haven’t even hinted at on here, (So conniving) mostly as it has not a working title.
Or character names. For anyone. (I’ve written most of the first chapter without even an idea yet. And I plot. Not pants.)
Anyway, here’s my MC!

Aaaggghhhh! All I want to do now is somehow drag your published work out of the future, curl up in an invisible corner, and trade this world for A’Grend.
*Sigh*

Koshka replied to the topic What do you love most about your current WIP? in the forum Topic of the Week 4 years, 1 month ago
For my current WIP it would either be the themes or characters, as they are heavily intertwined. It’s the first project I was able to pin down a point of focus before starting the book.
(I don’t pants, however I’m not sure if what I do counts as plotting. I have nearly the entire storyline in my head, but only a few scenes figured,…[Read more]

I’m sorry y’all. I’ll try to get something more submitted tonight, but if I can it will be way late so don’t wait for me. In fact I don’t know if I’ll have much free time for a bit; this week is already cramped.

Zlatan and Vulkasin
“She?” once again the conversation had shifted to that silent third person. Nyx.
Apparently the fox answered, because Ara turned to Victor and Alyona. “Any idea who she is?”
The siblings glanced at each other. “Ah.” Victor slipped something glinting into his belt. His mantle was…[Read more]

I’m sorry y’all. I just found time to actually sit down and write.
Vulkasin
Apparently Lyn had as much a desire to kill them all as his Endurance Instuktor. The older Vulk’s voice kept calling back to him, Run till you drop, and v’en you do remember, I’m be’ind you. So keep going.

So this is weird and random, but could I introduce another character? Zlatan and Vulkasin will most likely be disappearing soon (I’m not sure when, but I’m ready for a change), and I’d like it to be seamless. He’s a fox, and I think I’d leave him that way.

Those look awesome (though I have absolutely no idea what the Council of Bust is)!
I found a song for Mitchel! And I think I’m changing his name to Mikkel, and his sister may not be the other MC of this book, but that book is the last in the series, so I still have plenty of time to figure them out. XD
Anyway, his song…[Read more]

I’m popping back on here to clarify; I was thinking of later in these characters lives. Like, they become close friends during the series, and sometime later, when Paxton is older, the marriage idea enters the horizon.
And I’m someone who has avoided any sort of romance in my book’s, as I wanted Christian literature without twitter-pated…[Read more]

At first I thought,”Romance, over described battles, messed up characters…”
Then I remembered my book’s cultures.
The first books MCs’ father would be shown as a bloodthirsty military captian, their mother a brutal taskmaster. The fact that this kingdom has a female home-guard would immediately warp into some feminist program. In…[Read more]

Well, I only have one moon, but it’s not exactly like ours, at least not for this far north Kingdom, and is a huge part of their culture. On the first full moon of the frozen months, she turns blood red (when she’s called Warrior), and the first full moon of warm weather she’s gold (Conqueror). These moons mark the two ‘seasons’ of…[Read more]

That actually sounds really fun! And as for the age gap, that isn’t a problem. My Grandmother is older than my Grandfather, and there’s a nine year gap between my parents, but seriously, age gaps aren’t a real problem (obviously if God intended), some people simply need someone older/younger than them.
And I love the idea of an…[Read more]
