Hey all,
I don’t frequent the forums terribly often, but the Kingdom Pen team is working on putting together a currently top-secret project having to do with time management for writers, and we need your help. What are some of the things that you struggle with the most about time management as a writer, and/or what are some aspects of time…[Read more] -

DUDE! DAEUS! This sounds fantastic. Basically a KP book club. I am a fan of this idea. *much nodding* Lemme talk to the other staffers about it and I’ll get back to you, but I don’t think this would be really difficult to do. It might be harder to do a book a month (that’s a ton of reading). What about more like just reading a chapter a week? We…[Read more]

I’m originally from Ohio (yes the Wright Brothers were from Ohio therefore Ohio gets the title), but for the last 16 months I’ve been living in Florida.

Wow, guys. I think I can taste… like… bald eagle feathers. Also, freedom.
Really bad knock-knock joke:
Knock, knock!
Who’s there?
Not freedom.
Freedom rings.
*drops mic*
Anywayz, I’m from Georgia. If any others of you happy rebellious hooligans also reside in the state that is also known as awesome, we should meet up sometime. ‘cuz…[Read more]

Reagan Ramm replied to the topic The "diversity" trend in the forum General Writing Discussions 10 years, 2 months ago
I don’t think it’s unrealistic to write a story in which there is little diversity. In fact, including diversity can make a story unrealistic. It all depends on what kind of culture your story takes place in. The story should drive the elements, not a political agenda.
For example, if you were to write a story that took place in say, India, it…[Read more]

@Daeus — Cool, cool. The bulletin in a good idea. I think figuring out how to work logistics might be a challenge, but I like it. Keep thinking on it and if you have any more ideas on it, be sure to stick ’em here! Just messaged Rachel, and she’ll create a “big topic” for lack of a better word up today or tomorrow, and then you can go in and nest…[Read more]

@Daeus — Yes! You should be seeing ads in the side-bars and I think occasionally embedded in the articles. The ads are part of affiliate programs with different sites. We’re working on developing that more and more. Do you have any tips or ideas for different affiliate programs?
@sarah-h — No problem! I actually had an ad just like that pop up…[Read more]
