@keilah-h

I tend to lean towards global flood as well. That’s something I hadn’t considered regarding rock layers.

@grcr

My dad says that there are a lot of generations skipped in those genealogies, and that they only recorded the more important people, so that’s why he doesn’t think that they are a very accurate way to calculate the age of…[Read more]

Praying for both of you.

I really liked that chapter. XD

Okay let’s see… E and O, 3 and 15, X…

@theducktator

I don’t care too much either way. It’s not important to the Gospel or to proving the Bible.

The Bible implies a young Earth but doesn’t explain it outright. The Earth scientifically looks like it’s old but there are inconsistencies.

Jonas pointed out starlight. God wanted the lights to appear on the fourth day. Could the fourth…[Read more]

Barnes

For a second, Barnes imagined one of the cat monsters swallowing Mel whole. She watched the girl stroll down the path and pass beyond the tree and ferns. When the last fern stopped swaying from being pushed aside, Barnes stepped off the pavilion and followed at a distance.

@rae

Good luck!

young-earth creationist.

@the_lost-journal

I’ll still do it!

@theducktator

Old-earth. There just seems to be too much scientific evidence that this is the case. (For example, the stars are millions to billions of light years away, so in order for the light to have reached us, the universe has to be at least that old, or God created the light already in transit, which seems weird–it’s not like he’s on a…[Read more]

Prayers for the race of the Connecticut River today, for me, my crew (CLCR), and all the other rowers participating.

Weather is upper 40’s, a little chilly, and it might rain so we do have a possibility of hypothermia on the water if people don’t dress right. Plus it’s a river, and if anyone knows the Connecticut river, a very dirty one, so…[Read more]

I probably won’t be able to rp today until late this afternoon fyi. I have a 1k race to cox and row in on the Connecticut River today, so I’ll be killing my lungs in stead of rping! 😀

@theducktator

I’m a young-earth creationist.

@ellette-giselle

It’s okay!

@loopylin

Barnes

Barnes skimmed her hand over a cluster of flower bulbs on the pavilion. They looked more familiar to her now than at any other time- maybe because of how their colors grayed by moonlight. “I’m looking for a way back to my city. But I don’t want you to get lost too. You should find your way back before that happens. Not to say…[Read more]

If young earth means not billions of years, then yeah—young earther. We used to have a Jewish calender app thing on the family tablet, and it calcualted all the years and generations and stuff up until now. According to the calculations that that thing did, the earth is only about five to six thousand years old. Fifty or sixty g…[Read more]

Super busy.

Sorry!

@elishavet-pidyon

I’ll keep working at it then 👍

(Haha, that’s how it is sometimes. Especially when you have a project you don’t have the bandwidth to pick up for large amounts of time.)

Barnes

Mel didn’t shiver from the cold at all, and her coat wasn’t wet; she bit her lip and studied the garden as if she owned the place herself.

“No. I’m trying to get out of here, actually.” Barnes adjusted her mask by grabbing the chin and pushing up. “Do you mind telling me why you’re here?”
