Of course!! 🙂 I can already tell you’re an exceptional author from how you talk about your writing!! I’m very happy for you!! Oooh, I’m the same way—I could go nuts talking about my book (I think my family is probably bored of it by now because it’s hard for me not to talk about them), so I understand!! XD Yeah, shipping is out of my…[Read more]

Thank you! (I was worried it wasn’t all that great, so I’m super glad that you liked it!:) I think it portrayed their personalities pretty well. Mejia usually isn’t surprised by much or at least doesn’t act like it. And sure! I’d love to
monologuetalk more about my characters! I mean literally, I’d be happy to…[Read more] -

Oh, good! Phew… *wipes forehead* Of course!! I enjoyed meeting all of them, and honestly would love to know more about them!! Oooooh, that scene is flawless! I love how Mejia isn’t shocked–she’s just bringing this up casually, and Anton’s response is great XD
Awwww, I know, shipping is one of those things that I just can’t help…[Read more]

That’s alright, I don’t think it was duplicated.
Yep, I am just grateful that I’m safely on this side of the pen/screen from my characters XDThank you:) Yeah, I’ve talked about him a little here and there before, but this is the first time I referenced the squirrels XD Though I haven’t officially decided about how the scene will…[Read more]

@nanisnook Hi! I think mainly this all depends on your writing style, or your writer’s voice. Everyone has a different voice, and obviously it takes a while to find it, so the tip is to try a lot of new things! I personally gravitate towards a minimal style, with extremely minimum description. Recently, though, I’ve done a writing exercise where…[Read more]

@godlyfantasy12Â
Second draft haha what is thatÂAhem. Anyways. No, I haven’t really done any second drafts before…I mean, sometimes I change core scenes, and my sister makes me rewrite some…I know I’ll be doing second drafts for some, though, especially the ones that i wrote when I first started writing. I’m gonna redo the whole plot…I, u…[Read more]

Hi Natalie!
I definitely understand struggling to write descriptions. But I think I can help a little with the “show, don’t tell” advice that everyone gives us writers. It means that instead of saying, “she looked at the blue lake and liked it”, say “she admired the lake’s glittering, blue surface.”
Or instead of, “he was strange,” say…[Read more] -

Hmm, for me personally a great book that I believe counts in this topic is by Charles. J. Sykes, “50 Rules Kids Won’t Learn In School.” Since I’m not really a fan of non-fiction or life books, I didn’t expect to like it and there are probably a lot of people who will disagree with me when I say how great it is, (I mean the…[Read more]

Thank you so much!! I’m so glad that you liked Mejia:) That makes me grin like *holds hands up* this huge! She is definitely something else, (in fact TSW’s cast is something else if I come to think about it. Mainly because they’re my only WIP cast that doesn’t want to imprison me for being their author. Which is strange because I…[Read more]

Aye, so I finally finished a short story I started sometime last year…it’s essentially a combination of a lot of things I’m not used to, including but not limited to: description, different character voice, trying to write in a different style, a semi-retelling allegory, etc, etc, etc, etc…. I wanted to practice a lot of stuff, take a break…[Read more]
