Oh, and I forgot to mention, the DSM-5 isn’t in a Christian point of view (like most psychology) so, beware of weird ideology…

Oh, okay thanks!
@anyone who’s interested
Here is the digital form of the DSM-5. It is a diagnostic tool most commonly used in America. It has all the official criteria for a lot of disorders. However, some subtypes of disorders are not listed. (like C-PTSD, if I remember correctly.)

*glares at the post eating monster*
I was just asking what you all think about if my charries may have PTSD or not. (Sry, that wasn’t very clear) I think Godly answered my question, but if you have any thoughts, please share!
No worries! I don’t think I have anything add.

…I’m not sure what you’re asking me to think about?
During the trilogy, some charries do see some things that they wish they didn’t; but it’s nothing terrible because I read the trilogy aloud to my 8 and 10 year old siblings. 🙂
Makes sense. =)

Cool!

ahhh yes Sigmund Freud…Thought Smoking Cigars made him think better and then he ended up dying from mouth cancer…
He was a vey odd dude and apparently the founder of modern psychology…
He was the guy I was thinking about, you nailed it.

Here y’all go! I found this article and these are five forms of stress/PTSD that can occur. And u can find out which u believe ur character has and research it individually!
Cool, thanks! I’d forgotten there were more than three kinds of PTSD…
As mentioned in the article it usually occurs often, and there’s probably quite a few…

Yes actually, that is what Corvina has a bit of, DIS, except its not exactly diagnosed because it’s fantasy and there’s other things involved, and she can be healed by the Lord.
Same, my story is also a fantasy and they don’t have specific terms/labels to diagnose people with.
Some of them do have PTSD, and that’s not a term to…

Hm idk. Layson is very carefree… to the extent it gets himself in trouble sometimes. I mean not many people would leave their home into a dangerous place because they heard somebody they don’t know needs help. Most people would just be like ‘that’s not my problem’. It becomes more important later, he just kinda does what he w…

I gotta be careful what I share here, with the trigger warnings and stuff XD I
The sharing was mostly about if people put links on here to other things that explain what they’re talking about. As for talking about your characters, you’re welcome to share whatever you what, but you can add trigger warnings if you think it needs…[Read more]
