Yay!
Rory
Rory shrugged and looked down. He tested his weight on the brace a moment, and then spoke, his eyes still on the floor. “I don’t know. Something without planes or guns. A place I don’t have to kill people.”

They started out together and ended up in Landstraten at the end of book 3. I’m just picking up where I left them.
Oohh… that explains the creepy mask …

Good section! I like it.
It was a little unclear that the other three men were joining Leon and Julian until now, unless they were in the first scene and I’m completely blaming. I just don’t think we got to hear that they were back yet.
My guess is that since no one has seen the prince’s face, they will replace him with his c…

NEXT SECTION
hopefully this doesn’t feel to fast. The end of this section is where the story really starts to kick back in. We had a lot of travel in the 3rd book, and I’m trying not to literally go back over ground we already covered.
It was a bitterswee…

Ah, I see.
It’s a shock because they did set their hope on him taking the throne. With a Christian ruler, they would be free to worship in peace.
Joseph in book 2.
Eh, kind of. Joseph was more acting out of fear and wresting with the thought that he had to do this on his own. Leon and Julian are shocked because they…[Read more]

This may seem like an odd question, but what is your view on end times?
Woah. That is an odd question. Well, I’ve been working over it. I have several friends who love to debate end times, and I like to sit and listen, but as of yet I haven’t drawn a complete conclusion from listening to them, other pastors, and reading.
Why…[Read more]

the library wanted it back before I managed to find my ground again.
Mine is…three months or so overdue, and I’ve been billed for it…I’m going to have a librarian bounty hunter after me. -

What are your thoughts on Jesus having siblings?
The Bible says that He does, and I am going to believe it.
If you could visit one of the holy sights from around the world, where would you go? And why?
I’m not sure! I think it would be really cool, but honestly I’m content to just read about them. I’m not big on…[Read more]

There’s wordy like beautifully elaborate writing…and then there’s “Oh, the plot is going well, it’s time for AN ENTIRE SECTION ABOUT WATERLOO THAT IS COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT TO THE PLOT WHATSOEVER.” *glares at Victor Hugo*
Yeah, I like 1st person past, but first person present takes me about three chapters to get into without being annoyed.

No one’s hired me yet. 🙁 Today I sent in an actual application to Kroger instead of just the employment interest form, since it looks like they’re hiring again, and also an application to a Biggby coffee. Hopefully I’ll have a job soon.

Older love triangles actually have depth, but modern love triangles are just like Shadow mentioned: bland plain-but-actually-not heroine, childhood best friend, and new hot guy. Ugh.
Evangelistic dating is dating/becoming romantically attached to a lost person with the hope that the relationship will lead them to God. Obviously,…

I love that idea! My brothers and I are a little older now and our schedules look different, so we’re not always home every night, but on the nights when we do have the whole family around the table, I value those conversations. I think we would really benefit from being more intentional in talking about our days and what’s going on in…[Read more]
