ive written close to 20k this week 🥹 the best ive done lately…

here’s a long yap and small life update for all of you who aren’t in my walls 🤲

I’m working on a new story, I’m calling it Urban Ecosystems (UE). probably not a novel but still… likely a comic if I can actually get myself out of script and storyboard slump. I finally figured out what kind of story situation I actually wanted it to be because I always make characters and give them backstories and then do nothing with them. I don’t want to yap too much / bore anyone but basically I’ve decided to make it a comedy about my former gangster character (Zaey) adapting to the world again after 20 year in prison… heehee I think it’s funny but my sister was like, 20 years!??

Yeah uhm… someday I need to actually finish a comic 😞

I’ve been writing lately, as I’ve said at the start. Nothing that actually matters but at least I’m doing something. I’ve been thinking about my guy Elior and his childhood (and a bunch of stuff related to UE), and so my writing has been stupid stuff that lets me explore that in a fun way. Why does it feel easier to write random things instead of one cohesive plot 😂 Yeah anyway…

Nothing is really new that doesn’t pertain to writing/art. Still working towards my drivers license.

Oh, I guess we’re hoping to move out by the end of this year (aka ✨ family/parent issues at their absolute peak✨, if you know what I mean). I would love a new bedroom anyway though and we need to get out of this town just because. I need some new scenery 😂

im working towards making long form videos for my YT. I don’t know, Im trying to figure out when I want to do a sketchbook tour video because I think that could be fun for a first video… I’m thinking when I finish my current one but that might take a while since I don’t draw traditionally as much as I used to… and my sketchbook has become a place for quick tests and random sketches + it’s almost a smashbook atp. I’ve been printing some of my fav digital art pieces and gluing them in so… yeah *technically* there’s art in it… 🤭 idk. I should also record my old sketchbooks/binders because those are funny too.
