FYI: My WIP is about a queen that falls from grace and goes into hiding… and does that by hiding in plain sight as a rising star in the local theatre scene and waging a propaganda war with her enemies. Ridiculous, yes, but I suppose whether it is lame or not is a matter of preference. 😛

For me, I will never get anything done if I sit down to do careful planning and plotting (e.g. I have planned out quite a few things for my adventure/fantasy story and written about 7 chapters but it’ll take forever to plan out the rest because it’s quite the sweeping epic). Haha. I am a sadistic writer in my own way. I’m all for anything that can kill the delusional power fantasy that is rampant in adventure/fantasy stories. I mean, how many stories have you read that have badass mages and warriors catching the sniffles (not dealing with romanticised injuries they got in some glorious battle)?

It’s pretty interesting and quite well-written, but kind of bizarre and hard to understand. I haven’t been studying it hard enough to write a good analytic essay about it. XP

Eh, long-story poems aren’t my favorite thing in the world, but they’re cool.
