Sorry this took so long, guys. It’s surprisingly hard to write these characters when they aren’t in their own world.

Madeline

“Are you trapped here as well?”

Trapped?

The word shot a hole in her bulletproof smile. Madeline looked shocked for a split second before recovering her usual friendly face. She shook he…[Read more]

@godlyfantasy12

It’s true but it hurts. 😂 I love it! That’s one of my favorite meme templates

@hannah-beth

Hello! I’m AwsumFaith, a Christian teen girl who loves writing, drawing, and geeking out over her favorite movies XD

Now for some questions, hopefully I don’t repeat anything anyone else has asked you, lol

1. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
2. What is your favorite song(s)?
3. What is your favorite writing beverage?
4. Do you…

@freedomwriter76 Pirate Avengers?? That looks awesome! 🤩

@esther-c

Yes. XD

I’ve been wanting to beat that record since I first got on here. 12 just seems like such a tiny number…

@thearcaneaxiom

Wow, you’re creatures are really cool! I like the Phantom and White Lie

@whalekeeper

I could list off my favorite mythological animals till Christ comes again, but I’ll just restrain myself to these few. XD

perytons as mentioned before

qilins from Japanese mythology

brownies (not sure if these count because they’re humanoid?)

the rainbow serpent

selkies

kelpies

cocktrice

@loopylin

Oh I just love those! I wanna use them now …

Ok I just googled perytons to make sure I wasn’t accidentally lying to you guys, and I found even more cool stuff.

• They are from Atlantis, but flew away when the city sank.
•  Some stories say they are the spirits of travelers who died far away from home. Because of this, they have human- shaped shadows.

@loopylin

Ooo, you’ll have to share some of the creatures you’ve made!

Perytons??? Deer??? I love this!!!!

And thank you! I’m glad you like it

Ooo I love this topic! I’m such a mythology nerd and I love making up my own creatures.

I have a lot of different creatures, but have you guys ever heard of perytons? They’re like Pegasi but they are deer instead of horses. I love them.

@awsumfaith I love the plasma pheonix! That’s a really cool idea.

@whalekeeper *Gasp* someone else who knows…[Read more]

Weird, two of my favorites are dragons and phoenixes. Also, btw my HTTYD dragon would most likely be either a fury or a skrill.

Yesssss dragons and Phoenixes are the best of all of the creatures. And Skrills are cool too, I like those.

Salamanders. This sounds weird, cause yes, they exist, but there are many legends about fire…

And now I’m drinking a lot more tea instead of coffee after reading it. XD

@whalekeeper

Hi!! *returns hug enthusiastically*

Well, my favorite character I’d probably Lockwood (how very original of me, I know), but I love all of them! George is really funny and I love Lucy’s interactions with both of them.

@WHALEKEEPER

I can’t remember where or when you mentioned this, or if you ever even did mention it, but…

I started reading Lockwood & Co. and it is SO GOOD. I’m on the second book already. It’s my new favorite series.

@everyone-else y’all need to read these books they are amazing ✨
