Self-criticism has got to be the worst thing about being a writer…or being a human really.
I’m a bit of an obsessive plotter for that very reason. I tend to get lost otherwise and end up with ridiculous plots. Or lack thereof.

Me too. I’ve had some really bad asthma attacks which obviously haven’t been all that good for me.
That sounds like a highly fascinating operetta.
Speaking of asthma, I’ve always wanted to give a stereotypical fantasy hero asthma just to see them deal with it 😛
That is, if you manage to remember it.

Well, it still sounds like a fairly depressing story 😛
Ah, canola fields are really pretty! There’s a lot of them around here too and I like looking at them 🙂 .
Hello! Its been…a few days. How are you?

Yeah, I think it would be be so much worse if it happened now. We’re definitely completely dependant on His grace!
Oh well, that’s good. I love a good poetic justice storyline in that case 😀

You should know me better than that. I’d hate to be one of my characters.
Yeah, that matches what I’ve read. The thing I find interesting, and scary, about it is that since no one knows what caused it, we couldn’t prevent it from happening again. So theoretically we could have another flu outbreak and all die anytime.
That sounds like a…[Read more]

@valtmy 😛 I think I’ll use it very soon!
Haha 😀 one of my WWI ideas involves the actual Spanish flu wiping out all the characters who manage to survive the war.
Or maybe not that drastic.

Hello! I’m watching a movie and researching tuberculosis. Not for the purpose of torturing characters or anything, of course.

Well, apparently the emu is out bird and on our coat of arms because it can’t walk backward. Same with the kangaroo.
😛 Most white Australians can only speak one language, but since Australia is so multicultural a lot of Australians speak more than one language.
There are some emu farms, but not that many. Someone who lives near us…[Read more]

My aviator’s heart is beating wildly.
The turkey??? That’s just embarrassing. Speaking of national birds though, I once saw an American say that emus came from China.
Nothing is wrong with alligators they just aren’t as cool as saltwater crocodiles. Or as big. Or as dangerous…
The ghosts serve as the narrators. I think the choir…[Read more]

That’s the one with the Wright flyer and the Spirit of St Louis? It looks really cool.
😛
No not really, because all the Aussie animals are way cooler 😛 we do enjoy mocking them though…especially bald eagles and alligators.
My favourites are Winter’s on the Wing and Wick, but I much prefer the Australian over the Broadway…[Read more]

All of them! (Totally realistic) but particularly the Air and Space Museum (is that what its called?)
I believe the scientific word is pouches. That’s what we call them anyway.
I’v read a lot of American and English literature. Australians write very little on the subject of kangaroos but Americans in particular are fascinated by…[Read more]

Because when I come to America, I’d love to go to the Smithsonian 😛
Yep, I finished the book the other day!
Yeah, that’d be great 😀
I haven’t heard of Katy No-Pocket but my sister and I were laughing the other day about the fact that English/Americans refer to kangaroos as having “pockets”.
