Well, the way you have it seems good to me! Another way to do it would be to italicize and quotationize… *sigh* These made-up words will be the death of me yet. To italicize and place inside quotation marks the text messages, just to define them and make them more noticeably something not part of the actual text. (No pun intended).

Believe it or not, I don’t think I’ve ever read a dystopian novel, but I definitely know what the genre is.

I’ve heard good things about using Vellum for formatting a book. It is supposed to be very easy to use and save a lot of time. It is only for mac though.

You can print paper back copies (and sometimes even hard backs) using one of many print on demand programs. The successful self publishing book covers this.
