@mnvalentine Welcome to the bestistest place on the internet.
Has nobody asked you yet what you write? That’s what I want to know. I’m impressed you’ve been writing all your life!

@jenwriter17 I imagine the concern is sensuality? That’s the obvious thing to me, but I could conceive other exotic reasons.
I think you could handle it. People have a tipping point. If we didn’t, I’d never step out in public. Â If you’re not being vivid, not providing too many details, you’re not inviting people to go further with it. You set…[Read more]

@graciegirl Zikers! Welcome back!!!

I’ll do my best to answer this.
First, what I know the bible has to say about this.
The bible does condemn those who despise authority (2 Peter 2:10).
It also says, “honor to whom honor is due.” (Romans 3:17)
I am not aware of anywhere in the bible that directly says children need to be submissive to adults other than their…[Read more]

Daeus replied to the topic Looking for editing help in the forum General Writing Discussions 6 years, 10 months ago
Here’s what I’d recommend. You don’t need someone to edit your whole book at this moment. You just need someone to help you with your writing style.
Instead of asking people to edit all 13 chapters, just pick one chapter and ask several people to help you edit it and, most importantly, explain their edits so you can replicate…[Read more]

@rochellaine Welcome!
I love Hogan’s Heroes. I must have watched 100 episodes. At least if feels like it. I like Newkirk and Carter the best. 🙂
I am sometimes more comfortable singing when there are strangers around than talking.
lol. I can totally relate. Even when they’re not strangers.
Would it be too bold of me to ask if you could share one…[Read more]

@leumeister I think somebody tried to do something like this in the past. I’m not sure if it ever happened though.
I think the main downside to it is the time factor. When you can chat with video and live text, you tend to chat a lot more, which many of us don’t have time for.
I could see it as an augment to the forum in some capacity though.

@rochellaine no no, it’s fine. XD
Longfellow has some really great stuff. Tennyson too, though I haven’t read as much of it. Mostly just The Lady of Shalott. ;P

@gh24682468999 I like to commit myself to write till I reach a certain goal. Either for  30min-1hr or till I write 500 words. Nothing too big, or I won’t be able to handle it. Try to write at your peak energy level too. I don’t always get the chance, but I like to write in the morning, and I always write in the afternoon. The evening is when my…[Read more]

You happened to mention that you couldn’t wait for part 2 of my course to come out. There’s danger to that. 😛
I’ve got part 2 all scripted and I just need to write the homework and then record it. I’m planning to write all the homework this week.
I don’t know what your schedule is like, but if you’re interested, I could…[Read more]

Oh, well. The mask scene was cool enough. I don’t need an ultra-dramatic scene.
