@emma-flournoy I’m pretty sure it was unabridged, and I think it was Julie Rose’s annotated version. It didn’t feel abridged anyway. It felt like it took forever (over three weeks, I think), but I’m a fairly fast reader.
Some of the historical or social infodumps were actually quite interesting, like reading about the way the convents were run and…[Read more] -

@SeekJustice YAYYYY! Unabridged? That was a pretty fast read! It took me about three months or more. I’m notoriously slow though. 😛 It’s really a brilliant page-turner though, even with all the historical and social interludes. Which were interesting in their own right as well, even though they kept you from the story longer.
SO glad you…[Read more] -

I come again… In need of a bit of help.
I have another new character.
And he’s awesome.
But too see him….would be even more awesome.
He has brown hair, feathery and of average length, with a nice professional cut. He always has this manipulative, broad smile,…[Read more]

So my little sister was officially diagnosed with Down Syndrome, (we will need much prayer over the years for that) and she has three little holes in her heart, but they are not immediately threatening. Because of the weak muscle tone from DS,…[Read more]

“In my defense, you’re my favorite character, and it’s a proven fact that authors love torturing their faves. Don’t ask me why, but there it is.”
@Ethryndal I saw your post on your book, and now I feel guilty because that is exactly how I feel toward my favorite character. XD Yep. So true.

@Daeus We could also speak in olde english all the time.
I’m sorry. What was that you said? I was sneezing. I know you didn’t call me kid, cause then it wouldn’t be just your chair that would be melted. 😀

@ethryndal I’m honored. *gives you tons of gold.* Here’s a one-fourteenth share. 😛
However…I haven’t actually read them myself. I shall have to look into those.
I shall prepare to “die laughing”

@ethryndal : Isn’t it amazing? XD I get to be that awkward character who always explodes the wrong thing or stabs the wrong person. (Until I post too many more posts and then who knows what I’ll be. xD)

@Ethryndal Good. “The miserables ones” and in general terms which denote outcasts, poor unfortunates, that sorta thing. Think streets of Paris. :/
You pass the test.
Heeeyy imagine that, you know how to deal with emotional snowflakes! Shove ’em in the freezer. How clever.

@epicaddie2 YAAAAAY I’m so glad somebody actually did this. I, for one, am very excited. I LOOOOOOVE LotR, as you may be able to tell. 😉 My favorite characters would be Sam, Legolas, Aowin, and Pippin. I haven’t seen all the movies, only the first part of the Fellowship of the Ring. *high fives fellow torturer* What is it with that, anyway? It’s like… seeing blood on their faces makes us feel good about them. I dunno. I always liked it when my favorite character in a book or movie got beat up. *shrug*
WE NEVER CLAIMED TO BE NORMAL.
@Dragon-Snapper @Ethryndal Guys, THIS READER IS THE SAME.
” I always liked it when my favorite character in a book or movie got beat up. ”
*extreme nodding* We’re like psychopaths, but it makes us love them more. It does. *hugs specific characters in mind*
And then feel a million times happy when they get happy again.
@Emma-Flournoy Why doesn’t this surprise me… XD
Well, be happy, because every good character I ever write is probably going to suffer mass amounts of torture. After all, there IS a reason writers are likened to villains…
And don’t tell me Denholm is a tortured character…
Thou art SHREWD, milady. XD XD XD
I plead the Fifth. Thou shalt discover for thyself.
Since nothing I just said is telling in the least.
Your subtlety will never cease to amaze me. XD
@emma-flournoy @ethryndal Yes–when I was younger and before I started writing, my friends always told me that I had to be the badguy. And why?
Because I was so good at it.
*headdesk*
*confetti*
I can’t decide.
And who in KeePer is Denholm?
Wait. *glances around*
Is it from Kate’s book?
@Ethryndal I know. 😂
@Dragon-Snapper BRAVO! How ever did you guess?
And I can see how you’d make a good bad guy… 😀
