That’s so great @shannon!! I love Allison Krauss’s version of “Down to the River to Pray” 🙂

I like to play a lot of fingerstyle songs. 🙂 Acoustic, folksy 🙂

Welcome, @emily-voeller! How fun you play so many instruments! I play guitar 🙂 We’re glad you’ve joined Kingdom Pen!!

@shannon – Welcome, to Kingdom Pen!! I play guitar as well! It’s a great instrument 🙂 What kinds of songs do you like to play/sing? I’m so glad your here!

I am not a sports person either. I do summer swim team because my parents make me, but that’s about it. 🙂 I like rock climbing (though that’s mostly indoors), and hiking. Sometimes I grab a stick as a sword and act out fight scenes and stuff in my wooded backyard. 😀 My dad and brothers are archers but it’s crazy hard, so I stopped doing it a…[Read more]

@Shannon I love doing artsy things like painting and drawing, though I’m not that great at it. 😛 I’m an outdoorsy person (but not in the summer–it’s too hot, humid, and bug-y in North Carolina), so I do a lot of outdoorsy things. 🙂

@shannon Grades are difficult when you’re homeschooled, but about tenth grade. 😛 I write fantasy for the most part, but I dabble in sci-fi/dystopian.

I’m writing 🙂 @dragon-snapper @that_writer_girl_99 @winter-rose @ethryndal @graciegirl @anyone out there

Hello and welcome @shannon! I’m homeschooled too. 😀 A lot of the people on here were/are homeschooled. I play the piano, but haven’t tried the guitar or violin yet, though I want to. 🙂 What is your favorite genre to write?

@WarrioroftheRealm I just might. 😛

Ahh… yes. Then I definitely think fur elements could help. Does it have fur on its claws? Sort of a half griffon, half dragon, half bird thing?

Heyyyyy! A fellow Texan! I live in Ohio now, but I was born in East Texas. Minus the scorpions and rattlesnakes and copperheads and cottonmouths and mosquitoes and humidity and fire ants, it’s a really cool place. 😛

Welcome to KP, @Shannon. 😀

@ClaireC looks like you’ve got good help here. 😉 *thumbs up* I’d offer, but I’ve got several projects already now and I promised myself no more.
You’re in good hands though. *wink*

@DelightinLife welp, if that was at all helpful I’m glad. 😛 I feel like there’s got to be a way for you to accomplish what you want, I just don’t know if I have enough knowledge of your world to point you to it.
Glad I could at least listen, though. 😉

As for emojis… I actually don’t know about that one. I can only do basic ones.

Most of my comments are either about word choice or sentence re-structuring. I don’t know if that helps…

Overall, the story is good! I love the concept.

@shannon Welcome to KP! Glad you found us. 🙂

So cool that you play guitar. So do I, and I sing too! Doing both at the same time is tons of fun.

Do you like writing short stories or poems?

@clairec I’m reading it now. I warn you, I am rather picky, but I shall try to be kind 😉 I’m enjoying what I’ve read so far 🙂

By the way, anything I stick in there are just suggestions, and you don’t have to use them at all, if you don’t want to 😉

@clairec I’m reading it now. I warn you, I am rather picky, but I shall try to be kind 😉 I’m enjoying what I’ve read so far 🙂

@clairec, that’s pretty cool! I’ll try and remember to pray for you and your performance. what part did you get?

@clairec, no worries!

@seekjustice, This is fabulous feed back! Thanks so much! 🙂
