Interesting…… I may have to check it out!

XD oh boy, you like a good old tragic story?

Are you kidding??!?!? If I’m not crying at the end of the book, (and several times in the middle) I feel sold short.

Okay, lol, there are plenty of books I’ve loved that aren’t tragic, but yes, I love tragedy. I have a thing for it.…[Read more]

Aw thanks! I felt like sarcasm so that’s what we’ve got. XD

“No, I don’t. What are they?” He glanced around. He was perfectly fine carrying this fellow for another six hours or so. What was bothering him was the fact that he wasn’t sure where to go, and he also had a feeling that it was going to draw attention.

    Oh, she’s so precious.

    Gabriel Mai

Bittersweetness filled Gabriel. He could see the conflict in her movements, and while he wished her to stay, he also knew that she needed to go home. She didn’t belong in this cursed place.

“Lucy, I don’t matter. Fairness is a luxury, I am a peasant. But you…you need to go home. If that door…[Read more]

Gabriel was in many ways a stranger. He came from someplace else, his life was entirely different, and it was impossible to predict his thoughts. But he had fought a monstrous dog and birds, run through thorns, and never once complained or left Lucy for good.

Lucy glanced at the letterbox once more. She imagined in a way she often…[Read more]

“I…can survive in this maze better than you, and you’re just a kid. You need to go home.” He almost pulled his mask back up, to hide the sorrow in his eyes, but stopped himself, forcing his hand back down to his side.

Lucy took the key, wrapping her hand into a fist. Everything felt so slow and so fast at once. “What about you?”

He handed her the key. “Go. You need to get home.”

Idk what else to rp, sorry.

  • @rae

Oh and I want to validate that it might not just be a habit problem, and you shouldn’t feel guilty for not eating food in a disciplined schedule, especially if you have a physical condition. Sometimes other health factors affect eating more than we think. I had at least one condition to tackle before my eating got better.

Lucy stopped to look at Gabriel breathlessly. A cluster of emotions throttled her head, mostly fear. Urgency.

Her hope spiked when the footsteps grew louder, and hair rose up her neck when the light in the slot flickered to black.

“I…” She found herself staring at the key in Gabriel’s hand.

Forgetting that food exists every day is such a mood, lol. I’ve had similar problems, though not to that extent. I can be weirdly picky, and sometimes the idea of food makes me nauseous despite not having eaten for a full day. I recently got tired of a meal that was my safe food for about three years (grilled cheese and ham sandwiches), and…[Read more]

Gabriel watched her desperation, momentarily hoping that the doorway really did lead to her world, but he doubted it.

“If…if the doorway really does lead back to our worlds, then you should…go back.” It hurt to say it. He knew he’d never see her again after she went home. A tiny part of him hoped his suspicion that…[Read more]

This door idea is cool. It’s reminding me of the 100 Cupboards series

    That’s alright

    Lucille

“It looked real to me,” Lucy argued.

Her attention was taken by a more typical door she would have seen in her city, in one of the courtyards. The door had a letterbox. Through a crack, warm light glowed, and a faint unidentifiable sound crackled from within.

Lucy pushed the slot open by sticking her fingers…[Read more]

Lucy ran up next to him. “Let me see – come on.”

The peephole was too high for her, and Gabriel had to help her up.

She peeked through the hole. The sight of a warm, stone room greeted her eye. An old man sat on a chair, rocked back and resting, a book’s pages turning in the air of their own accord.

“You can go home,” she whispered.

Gabriel ran his fingers over the wood of the doors. Perfectly smooth, not a splinter. He tried a handle, finding it locked like the one Lucy had tried. If he had to, he wondered if he would be able to break one of these doors down. Was it hollow or solid?…[Read more]

I literally forget that food exists sometimes until my stomach starts hurting badly.

You might not find my advice useful, especially because you have a physical condition I don’t. I don’t presume to know how many physical vs. mental blocks you’re facing.

But I’ve been actively working on this problem myself. So maybe what I’ve been doing…[Read more]
