Hehehe… so at a lot of high schools, the girls will form football teams and play against each other the week of homecoming and the guys become cheerleaders. Because our school doesn’t have a football team, we do it a little differently. Whichever high school girls want to participate are split into two teams (freshmen/sophomores vs.…[Read more]

Oh I feel you… I haven’t written in a month, maybe more 💀 I just haven’t found the time or motivation to sit down and get something out. I’m planning to dive back into it once October rolls around and then really focus on it in November for NaNoWriMo.
Yeah, I totally understand that tho! Sometimes it’s super helpful to take a break.
    Oh yes, I ge…[Read more]

      Writing's been nonexistent lately…I haven't written in like a few weeks 😬
I'm not sure that God's calling me to write this story at this time in my life. Like I think that He's calling me to write it, just not NOW. I still have a lot to learn before I…[Read more]

Her companion, a dainty, girlish figure, childlike and pathetic in its look of fatigue and of sorrow, had said nothing as yet, but her eyes, large, brown, and full of tears, looked up from the fire and sought those of Sir Andrew Ffoulkes, who had drawn near to the hearth and her; then, as they met his, which were fixed with unconcealed admiration…[Read more]

Oh yes, I’ve heard you mention those!! Now I’m gonna have to check those out. 😉 They sound really fun!

    @koshka

Yeah, I thought it’d be something fun to experiment with and see if it’s something I want to spend more time on. 😊

    Awesome!! 😊

  • @highscribeofaetherium

Oooh, they sound really cool! I’ll try to have my charries run into yours. (:

  • Ope… I lost my characters again….

  • @highscribeofaetherium

Feel free to intro your charries and have them run into mine! They’re just kinda roaming the castle right now. I have their intro somewhere… either pg 446 or before.

  • @theducktator

No I don’t, I’m so sorry!! I wasn’t able to make the time to compile all of them. I like the one’s Loopy shared (thanks, @loopylin !!!), but this month I can work on putting together some fall prompts to do for October.

Bucky looks so good!!! I’m not an artist, but the shading ended up really good!

  • @ellette-giselle

Oooh, I really like the second idea!!

Actually, I was just thinking about it today and I noticed that Miles likes to have things under his control, so it wouldn’t make sense why he would willingly give Audrey away to someone, where he has no control over what the rest of her life looks like. A kidnapping would probably make t…[Read more]

Thank you so much for your input!! You’ve given me a lot of inspiration to draw from and I loved hearing what parts of books impacted you the most when you were younger!

  • @freed_and_redeemed

    I enjoyed it!!

There were a few things that I thought weren’t as good as they could have been though. I felt like Leon became pretty repetitive for at least half of the book. Isaiah kept saying similar things to him and he kept responding the same way. It did show how bitter he had become, but I did find it redundant and n…[Read more]

Ok! So I have this new-ish WIP idea, but I’m not happy with the plot. The main characters are Audrey and Miles. (Miles is her dad). Basically, Miles had to give up his daughter when she was little for some reason that had to do with his job. Maybe to keep her safe or something? He’s kind of a mix of Eth…[Read more]

Thanks ladies! Sorry for disappearing on you. I thought I’d have time over the weekend, but it escaped from me and then we had to leave for a worship conference.

BUT, I’m back! I’ll try to explain the plot and the questions I have sometime this afternoon. (:

  • Dunno who to tag…..

  • Alrighty… so I’ve been thinking about expanding my realm of fiction-writing. I still love writing young adult fiction (guys it’s hardddd), but I’ve also been considering trying my hand at children’s fiction. To be clear, I don’t think I want to go the route of picture books. That’s not for me.

But I love kids so much. They’re so fun. So I thoug…[Read more]
