@emma-flournoy I’m not sure it is going to be all right. He’s DEAD. *weeps harder* Just wait till you read it. I’ll have you all crying buckets of tears. At least I hope. I mean it would be dreadful if Ernst died and you didn’t shed even one tear.
@kate-flournoy Thanks for the warm welcome. I’m not sure I like the real world. You know it’s kinda…[Read more] -

@emma-flournoy That’s why I love soundtracks. It makes you relive the experience. And for me it kind of plugs the energy of the movie into whatever scene you’re writing (thus my use of Time from Inception during my death scenes).

@Emma-Flournoy Yes, I have a problem with Trump too. I agree he has a terrible record. But in recent days -I’ll admit he’s flip-floppy and this could always change- but in recent days he has surrounded himself by intelligent, well respected people, some of whom are even notable Christians. I’m thinking specifically of Pence and Dr. Ben Carson. I…[Read more]

Greetings, elf. It is not often we meet one of the fair people. In fact, we’ve not had an elf for a millennia, not that I would know. I’m a dragonling, but not quite as big as Smaug and not as small as @kate-flournoy. No, I’m about the size of the average Night Fury (and that’s saying something, seeing as there is only one Night Fury)…[Read more] -

@emma-flournoy Um, well, communication isn’t his stronghold of course, but he is good at summarizing things. Do people actually look at your manuals? Just give them links to youtube videos is my suggestion.

@emma-flournoy That’s hilarious. Conrad is as far from an INFP as you could imagine.

I don’t know exactly what cult Paolini was raised in, but you can definitely see the occult influence in his writing.

@emma-flournoy Uum… not quite 😛
My dad is an INTJ
Conrad is an INFP
Kina is an ESTP
I don’t know about Jakin.
I don’t know about Diara either, but it’s quite likely she’s an ENFP
Then, of course, Deron is an ENFP -

@corissa-maiden-of-praise – I shall certainly put one up then. XD
@emma-flournoy – aww, thanks. <3 Nice to meet you! aaaand no we’re not really in a house yet. Hopefully soon, since we won’t have any more house-sitting things by December. 😛
@gretald – Good to be back! 😀
@Rolena-hatfield– Thank you! *grin* *bows to the crickets*

I read the Eragon series a few years ago, and I liked them. I liked most of the characters, although many were stereotypical.
@daeus That’s interesting. I never noticed what exactly made me want to keep reading the books before now.
@emma-flournoy Yeah, many of the characters were stereotypical (Arya, invincible female fighter with sad past,…[Read more] -

@Corissa-Maiden-of-Praise congratulations! Welcome to the crazy world of psychological genius! 😀
@Dragon-Snapper I agree with @Emma-Flournoy. One hundred percent. 😉 Also, one of the reasons I love fantasy as a writer is because it takes us so completely out of our reality that the truth of reality can be portrayed through it and be as fresh and…[Read more] -

@emma-flournoy Yes! I once read a book that I thought was based completely on historical events, and then there was a note at the end letting me know that the main characters were both fictional and yes this one person was real but not everything happened exactly the way we had to portray it in this condensed setting… and it’s just like,…[Read more]

As a reader, I generally prefer historical fiction, but I still really like fantasy.
As a writer, though I find that I like almost all genres, what I really love about fantasy and that is the one reason I will probably write more of it than some other genres is that I don’t have to stick to facts. The only thing that is important in fantasy is a…[Read more]

@dragon-snapper I think it’s because it’s something we haven’t personally experienced, but that sounds enthralling. A sense of adventure, like you said. Just as the idea of unknown lands magnetized explorers like Leif and Columbus, so the idea of mythical things captivates us today. We’ve discovered our entire planet (well, we don’t know…[Read more]

@Emma-Flournoy That is a correct definition, but not a complete one. Eschatology is the study of last things, which includes all of the end times, but also includes things like death in general. We spent a few weeks talking about death and what happens to us when we die. Now we’re talking about the Resurrection! 😀 (Although trying to get everyone…[Read more]

@Corissa-Maiden-of-Praise Neato. I think that would be interesting, though some aspects slightly mind-boggling. 😉
Uh yes, I’m sure the concentration last night was difficult. *clears throat nervously* Um, on this topic…who did you vote for, if I may ask? Or are you old enough yet; how old are you?-
Meh, I’m in the same boat as Kate. Still 17. 😛 Although I will be brave and say I would have voted for Trump. I DON’T like him, but I’ve heard way too much about Hilary. And Pence is nice (I may be slightly biased since I’m from Indiana 😉 ) so that would have made it easier. I just hope I have better options in 4 years when I can vote. 😛

Whaat? I like I See Fire just the way it is. And, yes, Emma. I view the Last Goodbye the only redeemable element of the Battle of the Five Armies. Whatever . . . opinions opinions. Sometimes I make a playlist of all the Lord of the Rings end credits songs (in order from worst to best) and just let the memories flow . . .

I’ve also heard they might do a tv series. My friend had the idea (the super fantastic idea) that they should end each series by doing a full length movie just showing the battles at the end.

Also, if I had been voting, I wouldn’t necessarily vote for someone not Trump because I thought they had any chance. I would vote for whoever my conscience would allow me to, whether or not I thought they could win. My responsibility comes to God before country.

Yes, that’s much better. And yes, your vote is ultimately between you and God, and if I really felt I could not in good conscience vote for Trump, I wouldn’t. It would definitely be a matter of extreme prayer.
But thankfully I don’t have to make that choice yet. Hopefully I never will. 😛
