@rochellaine Or can you imagine in the world were you could only use the words a certain number of times, that every few years, you would move to another country with a different language and a different culture. That would be interesting.

I did come up with these myself, and had no idea what to do with them until I saw this and hope someone can use them. They’re just some random phrases that sound like they would make some good book titles.

Yes, Faramir! I think he was the only book crush I’ve ever had (or the others have slipped my mind). Faramir is always in my top five(or three, it really depends) LOTR characters.

You know you’re a bookworm when you go to your mom and say, “Mom, I need to get a new bookshelf soon.”
You know you’re a bookworm (and obsessed with LOTR) when your best friend gets you the complete collection of illustrated Lord of the Rings book for your birthday. I was so happy.

I love that idea! I like the concept of the followers getting their own instrument. Another idea would be that instead of the villain from abolishing music, he could use it in a different way, a more sinister way, or have a different weapon. Anyway, it’s a really fun idea! 😀

Hey, It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on the forums. (But I’ve been here…in the shadows…mwahaha!) Ok, enough with the creepiness. I’ve never really been in the writers’ corner and am determined to check it out. I’ll be writing for a wee bit.

@aislinn-mollisong
what helped with my flat character, but may not work well for made up names, is when you see the meaning of the name you picked for that character and how it may apply to the story. My flat characters name was Sol, which I knew meant sun in three different languages(at least) but I found out in Hebrew it meant peace and that…[Read more] -

@catwing
If you want some random ideas, I have a few. A blade that burns organic materials. A sword that sings when good weather comes. A sword that absorbs sunlight and the wielder will see in the dark. I hope you find what you’re looking for! -

@Ingridrd
Like what @kate-flournoy said. It’s adorable and comfortable. Unlike Toy Story though, which I love, the stuffed animal only interacts with the girl and it keeps it’s childlike mindset, innocent, content, and curious. -

You know your a writer when you are writing that a character gets poisoned or shot with an arrow or what a loom is and how to work it and research for the next two days, “What is the likelihood of surviving an arrow wound?” “How do you remove an arrow?” “What kinds of poison are there and first aid?” “How does a loom work?” I know because I…[Read more]

Besides KP, I use the dictionary/thesaurus/wikipedia on my computer a lot! I did have scrivener for a short period, but then the computer I was using got replaced and now I’m trying to figure out how to update my laptop enough to get it on here.

I’m a day late but that’s ok! I love LOTR! I’ve seen both books and movies (including the Hobbit). My favorite characters are Aragorn, Sam, Tom Bombadil, and Faramir.
