Actually, you know what would be funny? If one of the guys’ minds went in the same direction as mine and said something like ‘Yes, mom’ to Julian. And then, he would be stuck with that nickname for the rest of the story.

Drawing out surprise and mystery is a good idea. Hybridlore may want to know it all now, but she has more reason to keep reading now. Sometimes, it is even a good idea to never reveal but only hint, to allow the reader to piece it all together herself.
