To be honest… I wanted to squish the kitten like a stress toy. That was my original instinct when I saw it.
But I said I wanted to eat it instead because that’s a more commonly accepted thing to say. 😛
I must feel that way because I have a dog and it’s fun to squish his face when I kiss him.

I, personally, agree with you, I find it really weird, but a LOT of people use that analogy. I think there’s even a biological explanation as to why.

I think the 3rd book was my least favourite. Part of this was due to the story was more of a flat arc instead of a positive arc, which is alright, I just prefer positive arcs. Did you use colored pencils?

Sort of. It’s a special type of watercolour pencil. So after I fill it in, I take a fine-tipped watercolour brush and blend the colours. Then I redrew some details.
