Thank you for your help. I think this gives me some ideas. Not all of these seem to fit my character, so I may try to lean into sarcasm as I feel that this fits better. “Great. Just Great.” However, I think you have given me some ideas for some other characters as well. Words…[Read more]

Ack, that’s hard. I like both a lot. *Dramatic sign*… probably Turin, I like his rash behavior a little more. Aaron’s great too though.

He is lol.
This section was good, Aaron has a lot of guts to go do that. Man, 14 hours?! And Turin’s such a good friend. I don’t think I have any critiques for this one.

@theducktator haha that’s too funny.
also, it took me forever to get back to this but I’ll give you context for the “tumors” scene because it’s funny:
(warning: mostly unedited, also slight trigger warning of a minor gross thing)
The rest of the team was bustling around the garage. I didn’t see Sniper anywhere, but I did see Engineer and Medic…

Hey… so… I do really want to hear more of your story, and I don’t mind whichever character… I am just taking a break from KP for a while so… You don’t have to share more or tag me if you don’t want to… so, yeah, sorry… 😓💛

Hi Ellette!
Well, I’m really late to the party. I love what you’re doing, I also find a lack of fulfilling fiction out there, and it’s one of the main reasons I write too : ) Congrats on your publishing and the eventual release on your second book! That’s super cool.I’m Min around here, and I write/draw dystopian ya comics, and…[Read more]

You felt like Calvin? I didn’t know my pouncing abilities were so good. I feel profoundly complemented. XD
Aw, thank you! I’m so glad you like my drawings, and that you don’t think the dress and skirt thing is stupid. Sometimes it gets a little lonely.
SKIRTS ARE THE BEST. XD I don’t know your personal reasons behind them, but…[Read more]

I would read that book. The arranged marriage/marriage of convenience  trope is one of my favorites.

Okay okay okay first of all…
I’m having a @theducktator moment of correcting people’s grammar so don’t take this personally XD XD
But it’s spelled “break” not “brake”. “Brake” is like brakes on a car, “break” is when something actually breaks.
I like it when boys cry in books
that’s just my thing XD XD
Well in that…[Read more]

Wow, that went from 0 to 100 real quick lol. Those scenes were great, Turin’s character has definitely grown on me. I have to agree with you, it’s really annoying when Christians are portrayed as perfect with no flaws whatsoever. I know for a fact I’m not perfect XD

I do one that my dad designed. He is an instructor and he combined several different martial arts and took from them all the best ones for self defense and protective fighting.
(there is some competition too)
I forget the name he gave it. (whoops)
Yes, weapons are the best! I like the sword in particular. the bow is fun, and so is staff and JO…[Read more]
Neat, that’s really cool! I do karate, but also a little escrima, jujitsu, hapkido, and taekwondo.
The only weapon I do is escrima sticks, but I really want to start sword fighting and archery. I’m hoping to find somewhere that does swords in my area, but if not, I’ll have to resort to training myself off YouTube XD
Nunchucks and flails, are,…[Read more]
Oh you should see my dad with nunchucks and flails. It is SCARY!! They go so fast and he decimates the training dummies! It’s scary.
Here’s the thing. You know what’s better than nunchucks and requires basically zero training? A STICK.
So yes, someone who is trained with nunchucks could be effective with them, but an untrained person with a stick could be just as, if not more effective. If you put a guy with nunchucks vs a guy with a regular stick, the stick is almost def…[Read more]
Idk. I’ve seen some pretty wild stuff that a guy with trained nunchucks can do. (including ripping weapons out of people’s hands.”
I did say that a trained person could be effective with them. I haven’t heard of doing disarms with them, though I don’t doubt you. I still don’t think that justifies them being a good weapon.
