Jean Coul replied to the topic Have you ever written a sad ending to a story? in the forum Topic of the Week 2 years, 6 months ago
I just recently wrote a short story with a rather bittersweet ending, but no, not a tragic one… *sigh*
As bad as it sounds, I’d like to try a tragic ending sometime. I think the problem is I get to attached to the characters to want to ruin their lives in the end. Also, it’s like some kind of puzzle for me at the end of a story.…[Read more]

Who knew writing about a broken and corrupted version of a place you used to live…[Read more]

Okay, y’all, I need a brainstorming partner… or two… or as many as I can find, haha…

Haha yeah I feel that. I also feel that nowadays a lot of medieval fantasy feels like a LOTR ripoff.
IT’S TRUE!!!!!!!!!! If I have to read one more book with knock-off not-elvish and the destruction of a dangerous object by way of fiery quest I’m going to start throwing things.
And/or writing my own book.
Which is what I’m…[Read more]
