Okay, can someone put the picture they drew of Daeus’s Teedletidum’s actually on here, cause I can’t follow the link and I’m dying to see them.
Here, see if anyone wants to draw this person…
He’s an older teen, about eighteen or nineteen. His hair is longer, but not like shoulder length long or anything, just shaggy and long. Like Hiccup. And…[Read more]

Hey everyone! Just one more call throughout the Kingdom (along with the splendiferous help of @Daeus‘s tag) to see if any other KeePers will be at the Best of British Science and Bible Conference at the Creation Museum next Friday and Saturday! Just because I’ve not had time to be on here doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten about you all, and I look…[Read more]

@delightinlife @stewie-plotter “Yes here’s some tea for you two. And yes caffeine-free! I don’t like caffeine much myself. And yeah that’s just the tip of the ice burg of music I like. I’ll have to give you all a playlist or something.”

Thank you @DelightinLife for making me feel so welcome. 😀
Oh, that’s so neat that you have visited East Africa too!
What did you do while on your mission trip? Was there a certain food you enjoyed? Fresh mango was my favorite. 😉
I love to write historical fiction. I’m actually working on a One Year Adventure Novel set during WWII.…[Read more]

@delightinlife Hi. I love baking anything with chocolate in it. Cakes, fondues, souffle… If any Whovians are reading this, I’ll make that a reference to ‘Souffle Girl’. I began learning Japanese at my old school in grade 3. This continued until grade 5, then I began grade 6 in my current school. We did a little basic Japanese in term 4, but that…[Read more]

@delightinlife *cough* Yes…it is from the 16personalities test. That’s the name of the site. Personally, I hardly understand any of it, nor have I taken much time to, but @kate-flournoy and a few others love it. I am ENFJ, which is protagonist…whatever that means. 😛

@daeus Hmmm…the only ENFJs I know are you and myself…
@delightinlife Yay! Yes, that ‘cliche’ I think is so funny, because although true, and although I’ve used it myself, it may well have been used by every author out there. 😛
@jenali 😀 Thanks so much! -

@delightinlife Cinderella! (The 2015 version, I believe.) Excellent choice.
It’s just the usual; summary of out-of-pocket expenses, time required, remuneration, funeral arrangements, so forth.

@delightinlife Everyone else has pretty much covered it. I tend to force myself to write even when I don’t feel like it, that way by the time I do feel like it again I have something done. 😉
Another thing that keeps my mind fresh is working on a few projects at once. I generally have one main project, but I’ll be working on one or two others…[Read more]

@delightinlife Audrey and Jane had great thoughts on things you can change about a story to make it appear fresh again. I’ve read stuff from several different authors who experience the same thing, and sometimes this can be an unfortunate side effect of thinking about a project too much before working on it! There’s an old blog post I wrote on…[Read more]

@delightinlife Yeah, that’s tough. I’ve had that happen with quite a few stories. 😛
First, everything that @Jane-Maree said is fantastic. I don’t have much to add besides perhaps setting this idea aside for a week at least. It might be frustrating, but sometimes if we try not to think about a novel for a little while, it’s easier to go back to…[Read more]

@delightinlife This is a tough sort of situation. My suggestion would be to try a few different options to shake it up a bit and see what you like. These are some things that I’ve done:
1: tell the story from a completely different Point of View.
2: Change the genre. (I’ve legit done this to a novel. It started out as Medieval, and I switched it…[Read more] -

Hey, friends, see if you can help me brainstorm for a bit.
So far, about fifty people have taken the reader behavior survey. That’s pretty awesome. Fifty people can show us some neat things about reader behavior, but we’re going to need a lot more need more if we’re hoping for reliable and detailed data.
So maybe my outlook was too limited.…[Read more]

KeePers everywhere!
1,000 strong. That’s my goal.
I am thrilled to announce the launch of the new Reader Behavior Survey. If you haven’t already read through this thread, the Reader Behavior Survey is a survey I put together that asks readers detailed questions to probe into how they think and what influences them. “Why?” you ask. Well, these…[Read more]
