Such contented joy…it brings a smile to my face. Wonderful ending, @dekreel . Now I’m feeling sentimental. 🙂
May I just say: KP is awesome.
Thanks for the stories, and we’ll see you in a few months.
And, yes, HE IS RISEN INDEED!!

@dekreel, Lynn Austin writes historical fiction/romance novels. Some of them can be a little mature, so I have to be careful of which ones I read at this time. But she inspires me to write long books that aren’t completely boring.
@rochellaine, I’m not really sure yet. I like 1700s and 1800s, I think. What about you?
Could someone please…[Read more]

@dekreel I cannot believe how many people I recognize on that list. I also cannot believe how many people there are… wow. Simply wow.
I’ve added suggestions on the document 🙂

Alright, here’s how my crazy idea will work if you’re willing to join on. Basically, I want to hire you as a short term ambassador for me.
Here’s the details. It requires that you think other people would like to read my stories. The work you’d do is contact people you know and briefly share this link with them where they can get an…[Read more]

@dekreel No, you wouldn’t have to read anything of mine, but it would be best if you did. I’m going to message you with the details.

@dekreel I dropped out for a bit. Had to do some Easter prep. But anyway, I know the second one! 🙂 It’s part of the crazy argument during the first meeting of Petruchio and Katherine from Shakespeare’s Taming of the Sherw! He keeps trying to give her a nickname, but she argues her name is Katherine, not Kate. Am I right? *wipes brow* I almo…[Read more]

@dekreel Nope. Neither speaker is Maria! 😀 It’s Uncle Max and Brigitta/Marta (I don’t remember which).
Sorry, I’m really bad at this game. 🙁 Apparently I can’t really recognize quotes from anything except The Princess Bride. My siblings and I used to play this game with books, and I could recognize a quote from a choice of hundreds of diff…[Read more]

@dekreel Don’t worry, I didn’t pick a random obscure musical that you wouldn’t know. Yes, it’s Sound of Music. Can you guess the speakers?
The second one is from the TOS episode A Taste of Armageddon. We’re both taking a gamble when we do Star Trek, because neither of us have seen all the episodes. 🙂

@dekreel I’m trying to decide if it would cause Bobert greater trauma to see someone actually disbeliefed before his very eyes, or to keep you in my imagination and allow him to suffer through the terror you cause by your growling. 😉
*considers* Well, since you’re my friend, Bobert will have to get used to you. I won’t disbelief you. As long a…[Read more]

@dekreel *Bobert backs away and hides behind my skirt* He doesn’t like any kind of rumbling. It makes him think of thunder, earthquakes, volcanoes, and tsunamis. …wait…what have I been telling the poor little thing?! 😀
@jenwriter17 Happy Easter yourself!!! Bobert sends kisses.

@rochellaine @dekreel I’m not writing right now, but I saw you two were on so I just thought I’d pop over and say HAPPY EASTER! I probably would’ve forgotten to say it tomorrow. 🙂

@dekreel Did you ever find a word that rhymes with “Day?” 😀
I’m here for a little bit. Working on my western.
Stop growling! You’re scaring Bobert! (Yes, he’s finally back. 😉 )

@dekreel I’d be happy to, except I can’t find where the “request access” button is on the document. It’s usually on the left side of the top bar, but it’s not there, and the “suggestions” button has the “edit” section completely whited out so that I can’t click on it. If you could point out to me where to request access I will, or you could…[Read more]

My current WIP is the longest book I’ve ever written (still 1st draft). I’m expanding a story I had previously written. It’s a lot of fun! Right now, it is called A Candle in the Window–historical fiction (1800s Indiana)/romance novel.
I personally do not like to draw. My sisters love it, though, and they’re really good–a lot better than what I…[Read more]

@dekreel. Terrific idea! *cheers and throws chocolate* I love it!
Umm…by the way, I am really only scared of dragons until I get to know them. Warren pointed that out. 🙂 And I agree with Rochellaine on her comment about what she agrees and disagrees with.

@daeus Okay! That makes sense! (Is this where I ask the questions, or do I email you?)
So I’m looking on your link. Basically when people push it does it automatically sign them up for your newsletter?
One problem is I don’t use social media… Could I print out some advertisements and give them out at church or school? Would texting also…[Read more]
You can contact me here if you prefer it to email, yes.
You’re correct that when someone signs up for the book, they are subscribed. (Fyi, the newsletter goes out about once a month.)

@daeus Oh, wow, thanks! I’ve already sent out the link to a couple friends and family… 😉 Or is it too early for that? o.o
When you say “collect subscribers manually,” do you mean keep track of who signs up for the newsletter and making a log out of it? I think that makes sense…

Yeah, you can get started now and you have the right idea with the signup sheet. Just two columns with the name and email.
If you want to email me, I can manually send you the book as soon as I get a chance.
Hmm. Maybe a browser issue? I just tried it and it worked for me.
Hi @dekreel,
I wanted to check in and see how things are going.
I saw one person signed up through your link so far. Great job!!!

Hiya, @daeus! It’s going pretty well. Thanks for checking in. 🙂 Good! That’s something. XD
