That’s true. My dog was commiserating with me, but he’s gone to sleep now, so I’m back to being miserable alone 😛
I guess it is. I wonder why millenia means thousand when one would assume the word million came from it?
Sure. I might not get it read right now, but I’d definitely love to. (By the way, i saw something on Pinterest, I…[Read more]

@seekjustice Yeah, me too.
I see. That is something billions of people have done over the course of the millennia, so you are not alone. 😉 (Have you ever thought it weird that “millennium” means “a thousand years” instead of “a million years”?)
Would you be interested in reading some more of Daughter of Judas? I haven’t gotten to a really c…[Read more]

Sorry, KP wouldn’t let me on for a bit there.
No. Now I’m laying on the bed and moaning about existence.

@seekjustice We Easterners pronounce it the same way. It’s funny, but the Westerners pronounce it the way it’s spelled according to the “official” rules of English, meaning, the “e” is silent, and is relevant only to tell you what sound to give the “o”. It’s pronounced “Kai-oat”.
So if an actor in an American Western pronounces it the way you w…[Read more]

Sure 😀
@rochellaine I pronounce it “Kai-o-tee”. What’s the Western way to say it? I’m not really sure how other Australians say it, because we don’t really talk about coyotes, not having any or anything 😀

I’m back! I dropped out for family worship.
@catwing Thanks. 😛 I’ll take a look. By the way, that thing about “not the ship we wanted, but the ship we needed,” isn’t that a parody of a quote from a Batman movie? (no idea which one. 😉 I’ve just heard the quote before…on Studio C, I think)
@seekjustice Speaking of wolves…but actually not s…[Read more]

@catwing There’s no bears in Australia, so I’m sure that’s fine 😛 (Not that there are any wolves either, but that’s irrelevant)

@rochellaine Justice would love wolves 🙂
And yes, that Bible verse is in the book.

@seekjustice I’m sorry, who would love whom? Are you still referring to Justice and Alex, or someone else? You wrote in the plural… 😉
Oh, I love those clips! I think it’s pretty cool that they had a Bible verse in the second one too. Is that something that’s in the book or not?
@catwing If I did, I’m sure you wouldn’t recognize Alex, sin…[Read more]

Now there needs to be a story about Alex and Justice running around the world burning random things and shouting “it’s for revenge!” before disappearing to plan what to burn next.
And after a while, Alex will eventually ask Justice, “what do you want revenge for?” and Justice will ask her the same thing, and they’ll tell…[Read more]

@catwing They both burn things when seeking revenge, when angry and when slightly inconvenienced, how can they not be?

That’s definitely an interesting premise! Well, here’s a link to Carton and Darnay’s dinner scene Â
I can’t find a whole thing, but you might know of where you could get one.
Yeah, Justice and Alex could possibly be soulmates. or twins separated at birth or something.
