@seekjustice Speaking of wolvesā¦but actually not speaking of wolves, how do you pronounce ācoyoteā in Australia?Ā The pronunciation of ācoyoteā is the way I tell if an actor in a Western movie is truly from the West or not. š Even if they fake the accent, they usually donāt realize thereās a different pronunciation of that word, and it gives them away.Ā But I think the British pronounce it the Western way, so Iām just wondering about the Australian pronunciation."Sylvester - Sylvester!"

@seekjustice We Easterners pronounce it the same way.Ā Itās funny, but the Westerners pronounce it the way itās spelled according to the āofficialā rules of English, meaning, the āeā is silent, and is relevant only to tell you what sound to give the āoā.Ā Itās pronounced āKai-oatā.
So if an actor in an American Western pronounces it the way you would usually do, he/sheās from somewhere else, and faking the Western accent. š
