Sorry it’s taken me so long to reply.
Everett – Elderstrand with Ilahna and Klethen
Everett’s eyes squinted as he tried to make out further details about the cloaked figures until the man told them to run and they apparently would not be able to fight the creatures. He quickly went after the two who had bolted off.
(I’m also not sure what to write at the moment, sorry. It’s really short.)
"Great winds of a derecho, you're a scary bird!"
Everett – Elderstrand with Ilahna and Klethen
Everett stood frozen still, prepared to thrust his sword into the dark, blurry figures standing before him.
“I’d put that sword down if I were you,” the man said, “We don’t want a fight.”
He scarcely brought the weapon down, his mean scowl fixed on the two. Gripping his sword tighter in an attempt to keep his barely yet involuntarily shaking hands still, he repeated the only question he would concern himself with until an answer was revealed.
“What is this place…?” his voice remained quietly dark, almost nonchalant.
No, he didnt at all care who these people were, and he didn’t bother to consider how he arrived in this place. For now, it was all to figure out what this place was.
____________
I also failed to mention in Everett’s description that he has bad eyesight and most things look fuzzy and unclear yet refuses to do something about it.
"Great winds of a derecho, you're a scary bird!"
Oh, alright! Thanks.
Everett – Elderstrand (with Ilahna and Klethen)
Everett left the soldier far behind him, though he was astonished to find that the whole town appeared desolate – other than the one man he’d found.
He continued to walk throughout the area, until voices reached his ears. The words at this point were unintelligible, yet then he moved closer. Without waiting to overhear anything, Everett bolted at the two people and kicked one down, the other he glared at with his sword tightly held in his barely trembling hand.
“Where are we?” he asked darkly, failing to make eye contact with the person in front of him.
"Great winds of a derecho, you're a scary bird!"
Okay… I’m here, finally! Lol.
Everett – Elderstrand/Edge of Elderstrand
Everett sprang off the ground in fright, eyes wide open. Anything that wasn’t encased in darkness was blurry and an awfully quiet town was barely visible from his location.
What was this place? It definitely was not snowing, which wasn’t normal. The area wasn’t even extremely cold. And what should he do about this? Everett moved his hand to the hilt of his sword, jumpscaring himself when he drew the weapon. That action he considered far too noisy for this silent place.
Everett dashed for the town entry. As soon as he set foot inside, an odd looking fellow stepped forward, about to angrily go on about something then took a better look at Everett’s appearance.
It was a soldier… but from which continent? It didn’t look like any of the ones from his land.
“What is this place?” Everett demanded in a low voice.
“Who are you?” The soldier asked in return. Everett glowered at him and repeated the question, then sprinted off when the man began striding towards him. Of course, he was followed.

"Great winds of a derecho, you're a scary bird!"
*internal scream*
This is flying fast. I thought I might’ve had time to RP, but I am going to a church retreat today and won’t be back until Sunday so… I will NOT have time I guess. When I get back I’ll try and read through the novel I’m expecting to come back to and see if I can jump in. 😂
"Great winds of a derecho, you're a scary bird!"
Yeah, it has. Sorry, I haven’t really been in a mood for RP-writing on here so it’s taken me a bit to reply. Lol.
Navin
“I- uh, fine…” Navin’s shoulders slumped when Astro commenced the speaking of what seemed like a thousand words until he was puzzled, although it was only about fifteen. “I-… curfew at s- seven…?”
Some sort of curfew had to have been in place, Navin didn’t know it was at seven. His head turned here and there as he scanned the area, but then he followed after Astro. “Cu- curf- few’s at seven?”
Perhaps he only thought this shocking since he normally roamed around and ventured far onto the woods after ten at night, but only for the sake of getting some solitude.
"Great winds of a derecho, you're a scary bird!"
I have chosen a character.
Everett
He’s 18, almost seven feet tall. He has pale skin, really light blonde hair and blue eyes. Everett wears armor, all black clothes, boots, a cloak with fur trim, and weilds a really really really really long unbreakable sword that appears to be made of ice. Everett does have the ability to magically create fire, but he won’t do anything with it since he only knows how to use it for destructive things.
He doesn’t usually keep eye contact when talking to people and his answers are usually short. Also, he always appears angry because it’s considered rude to smile at strangers where he’s from.
"Great winds of a derecho, you're a scary bird!"
Maverick
Maverick’s indifferent look said he hardly care about finding Navin, though he replied with a nod, “Well, maybe. Actually yes, he gets lost easily. I’m probably going to be roaming around for a while if I can’t find him, so if there’s somewhere else you got to be, that’s understandable.”
"Great winds of a derecho, you're a scary bird!"
Navin
Navin shook his head vigorously.
“No no no- y- you won’t. I’ve missed… a class. Don- don’t worry about it. It- it can’t be far.”
He then looked down at the paper and began taking quick strides in the direction he imagined would be best, assuming Astro followed.
"Great winds of a derecho, you're a scary bird!"
Oh no! Lol. I’m sorry, I did have a lot of school yesterday so it’s taken me a while to reply.
Navin
Navin nodded, then frowned when Astro turned around again.
“D- do we have to check- check in? I don’t even kn- know where- where the entrance is.”
He opened the notebook again to his drawn map, walked over to Astro and pointed to their location. “We’re… there. I- I didn’t draw-… the entrance, or an- any exits. So, I… I don’t even know how t- to get out.”
"Great winds of a derecho, you're a scary bird!"
Maverick
Maverick grinned. “That’s really funny cause I kind of do the same thing. The only reason I have my classes memorized is because of Navin, but I’m sure even he skips a few because, as you can very obviously see, he can barely handle one person at a time.”
He then took a quick glance behind him and laughed, “And I’m not sure where he went…”
_______
I’m sorry, I’m not exactly sure how to continue the conversation.
"Great winds of a derecho, you're a scary bird!"
I also want to do this. Although, I don’t know which character I’m going to put in yet.
"Great winds of a derecho, you're a scary bird!"
Navin
Navin’s expression just deepened in concern. “W- well, you didn’t say anything negative…” As for the second thing, “It depends which leaders. The- the people I’m around now… they can usually overlook an offense, but a few years ago… m- my former ‘leaders’…”
Should he tell this very random person anything? He was pretty much a stranger, but he finished the statement anyways, “My former leaders… they thought it- it was offensive or dis- disrespectful if I… s- spoke at all… so, li- like I said, it- it depends which ones you mean.”
What also made a difference was Astro’s definition of “leaders” and “authorities.” Although Navin was pretty sure his answers would’ve stayed the same in any case.

"Great winds of a derecho, you're a scary bird!"
Navin
Navin blinked at him. “I-”
That was too many words, but he made a small effort to answer. “Um… I- it depends what rules you- you’re meaning? And I haven’t seen guards… no- not around here…” Navin shrugged, then his brows furrowed. “Wha- wait, wha- what school did you g- go to?”
Before now, Navin had never set foot in a school such as this, but he never heard anyone mention a bunch of guards standing around everywhere unless there was an important reason, or a judge to which you report an impolite tone of voice. “Are you fr- from tah- Takaayon?“ It was the only place in his world which he could think of with numerous legalistic and useless rules.
"Great winds of a derecho, you're a scary bird!"
Navin
“Well, w- which aut- author- authorities? An- and, and what guards?” Navin’s eyes scanned the scanned the hall, trying to figure out what Astro was looking for then he noticed a student laying on the floor down the hall. “Do you know him…” he asked in a low voice, glancing between Astro and the odd kid.
