A loud sound erupted, and Everett flinched. Still frowning, he turned his attention away from the floor to see a nearby human shape, with a mouth adorned in goop. Did this boy eat a live chicken? There was a story about a pirate from Kadel who had done that.
As nobody replied, Everett finally thought that just maybe the odd prince had been speaking to him. To make sure, he took a quick survey of everything he could see. Not another soul acknowledged the goopy-faced boy.
“How am I doing what?” he yelled, making sure to match the raucous tone of the prince’s voice. Perhaps he was hard of hearing.

I wanted to write but my brain has slowly been melting since about an hour ago. I apologize if this somehow depletes your own braincells and causes brain explosions, loss of thinking, or mental tornadoes. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist for more than five centuries. 😀

Bryce slowly shook his head, but he still had many questions wheeling through his mind. Although, it seemed to be a delicate topic to speak of, so he made an attempt to move on.
“No. And, again, thank you for your help.” Bryce offered a slight smile. “I plan to either stick around and search through my collection, or I’ll go venture to find wherever I’m supposed to be staying, and drop the books off there. I imagine it’d be an annoyance to lug a stack of books around all day. That being said, do you have any extraordinary plans for today?” He glanced around, then added on, “Well, the library is wonderful enough by itself. I wouldn’t blame you if being here is the plan for the day.”

Phew. I’m overcomplicating this. It’s just an introduction RP for a beloved character. It won’t bite you.

Everett Ayden
“Why are there so many people?” Everett’s face became a perfect downturned frown of utter disgust. The man beside him, Wilford, let out a sigh. He brought the cloud-like horses to a stop, causing their small carriage to halt. Before them was the academy, said to be a place of great magnificence.
“For dragon’s sake, I’ve told you at least ten times that it is a school. With people.” After Wilford spoke, he gestured for Everett to leave the carriage.
Everett hopped out, quite silent for such a person of his height. He snatched his pack off the floor of the vehicle and swung it around his back. Several times he had been told that he needed no backpack, but he would rather loose everything he owned then let go of it.
“I assumed people didn’t like school, and that they’d like it even less if they’re prestigious royals,” he explained. “In conclusion, I believed there would be no one here.”
Before anymore could be said, Wilford and the small carriage was ushered away by an ever-growing line of newcomers. If Everett’s frown could have deepened any more, it would have. As he pondered all of existence, his eyes scanned the ground, memorizing the pattern of each set stone.
He entered the academy in such silence and awkward stiffness that it seemed almost robotic. To add onto his manner, Everett retreated to a place nearby a wall and remained frozen in place, staring off somewhere at the ground with overwhelm deep in his gaze. His surroundings consisted of a haze of dazzling colors and enormity, along with lights and the talk of students. In short, he was already thinking about how much he disliked the place.

“Oooh, shiny! By the way, what would happen if I jumped out of the carriage and into the aether?
“You’d be lost in a completely different universe from the one we’re going to,” said the coachman matter-of-factly.

Yeah, I can see this being pretty interesting if our characters interacted. As long as you don’t mind Kavi trying to teach Everett joke theory, that is.
I can also see this being interesting, and I am in fact eager to know how this shall go down 😂 Also your character sounds really neat too!

I’m ashamed to say that it has taken me many days to reply at times, but life just whacks us in the face*shrug*I do hope to write something here when I return from church tonight 🙃 And because I am posting this, I am more likely to remember 😂

The most common one is “Lissey” or “Lee-see.” I am afraid someone will one day say “Lice.” 😂😭

Hello! I don’t have much critical input, but I do think this is great. I’ve also struggled with a perfectionist mindset, so I find quite a bit of this relatable. Also, I love how you related a character to your personal experience 🙂

Kathli
She is an heir to the throne of Wonoadren. She has the ability to create star-like objects that lure people towards it. If they touch it, they die. That is the evil side of her power. There is a good side but I’m still working on it. She isn’t really supposed to kill people with these stars… but anyway….
Kathli has long, straight black hair and green eyes and is about 5’5. She wears a purple and black dress, functional enough to fight people and pretty enough to go to a party.
I’m still trying to figure out her personality, but I do know she can be kinda rude.
Ru’Ethel
Ruth’s ability changes every day, and it is randomized. One day, she may have the ability to fly and mind-read, then the next day she might… idk, be able to transform into a horse and suddenly have magical green hair? Her powers change every midnight.
She normally has wavy, reddish-brown hair and one purple eye and one pink eye (not conjunctivitis pink eye. Like, her iris is pink… just in case there was confusion). Her outfit is all light blue (probably a dress with a short cloak), with tall, heeled boots. She also wields an axe, but it’s mostly just for show.

I saw you have an MC named Lise. And I thought it would be fun to say that I have an MC named Lisse. A bit different, but kinda similar. How do you pronounce Lise? Some people I’ve showed the name to have said it differently XD

I’m also trying to throw my character in here. I won’t be writing an RP tonight, but I can give you a description and you can see if you’d want them to interact XD
Everett Ayden; 17 years old
Appearance – 6’10; pale skin; slicked back platinum blond hair; hooded, icy blue eyes. His is hardly ever angry, but always looks mad and serious. He also only wears black, gray, and navy blue.
Personality and random facts – Everett is nearly blind. He can roughly make out objects, but everything near and far is a blur. He is very factual and doesn’t usually catch onto a joke quickly. He also does not question things that are typically considered oddities and will simply go along with it. Everett is from the country called T’kayon, but he has the bloodline of a Belnayan, all of whom have magical gifts. He has the gift of a Ferindure, which can form and manipulate fire, but he can only do it to protect allies.
He wasn’t born into a royal family, but there was a Belnayan prophecy about a new T’kayon king, who was going to replace the current tyrannical ruler. Everett was quite on board with the idea of this prophecy, but only before he found out he was going to be the new king.

I was a tall eight year old, and one time I was thoroughly questioned, because this one person thought I was lying and wanted to know why an old lady such as my eight year old self was out getting candy. Sometimes I am happy to be considered short now.

I see. That sounds like fun! I’ve never watched that show… but I’ve certainly heard of it.
Hmmm I used to do trick or treating with friends, but I moved last year and now I just don’t have a great interest. My favorite part was costumes, honestly. I love making them, but I’ve never enjoyed the overall concept of Halloween personally. I’ll probably go to a renaissance fair one of these days, mainly so I’ll have a reason to make and wear a fun costume again XD
