He has to let go. And yeah, if he’s stabbed nothing is going to happen (except that he now has to deal with a stab wound lol). He can’t carry one on his back or side though. And yes, that was Zahlin’s sword that spoke.

Btw, is his gun a normal one, or is it some sort of sci-fi weapon?

It’s more powerful than an Earthling pistol, though is the same size. It works the same, but it looks different, like the style of cock is meant to be easier to pull back, and it has a fancyier casing.

Yes he did. Though don’t tell HighScribe this, but Nahim would never shoot someone from behind, or stab them. His brother died by being stabbed in the back while he dueled, so Nahim considers it dishonorable.
