@seekjustice Haha! I guess you do, don’t you! 😀
I’m going to go now. I’ll probably be back tonight around the usual time. Hope to see you then!

@seekjustice I love J names too, but I guess for now I’ll go with Marc.
Did you decide to actually edit Stars? How’s it going?

@jenwriter17 Hello! Aaaand…goodbye… 🙁 Hope to see you soon!
@seekjustice Haha. 😛 I like Jay, but I already have two boys in the book named Jared and Josiah, so another “j” name might seem a bit much, don’t you think? (Although alliteration’s always awesome and amazing.) Marc might be good. (I wrote a whole story with alliteration once…[Read more]

@alia Sounds great! 🙂 By the way, if you’d let me read it when you finish I’d love to, because like I said before, it’s a really cool idea!

@alia That is a really cool story idea!! Poor little kid. 🙂 I kind of think there’s a theological problem with it, though, don’t you think? “All’s well that ends well” isn’t exactly a Biblical concept. (Please don’t be upset. I’m just asking, and you can write whatever story you want. And I could be completely wrong about how this stor…[Read more]

@seekjustice Oh, haha. I’ve done that, too. Going back through old notes/writings and just thinking, “How could I have forgotten this?!” (That happened with my Daughter of Judas book. I forgot about it for a long time and was really excited when I reread the beginning.) 😛
Their last name is Doran. Chara Doran, and she has a single bro…[Read more]

@seekjustice Haha, it’s currently 81 degrees Fahrenheit here, but I remember winter well and can definitely sympathize! 😉 My favorite morning song has lyrics which you might appreciate:
“Oh it’s nice to get up in the mornin’ when the sun begins to shine
At four or five or six o’clock in the good old summertime,
But when the snow is snowin’ and…[Read more] -

@seekjustice Good afternoon! Things is grand! 😀
I’m editing/writing my western, working on a short story, and waiting for my brother to edit my blog post so I can (finally) publish it.
What’s cookin’ in Australia?

@jenwriter17 @ariel-ashira @alia Anyone writing?
@seekjustice Tagging you even though it’s really early because I think I’ll be on for a while, and so might still be on when you get here. 😉

@Jenwriter17 pretty much just throwing in all the subplots and more try-fail sequences will fill out your plot a lot more.

@seekjustice And in the past few minutes I’ve completely changed my ideas of what those names sound like to me. So forget that whole list, I guess. 😛
Like I said, though, whatever you choose will end up being great, because the readers will like the character and probably end up liking the name.
But still choose Adelaide and “Ladle”!

Rochellaine replied to the topic Writers' Corner #16 in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years ago
@seekjustice I think it can depend on what type of girl she is. Florence makes me think “Florrie” and so I think of a delicate flower of a girl. Adeline is a bit harsher, because of the heavy “d” and “i”. Violet again is delicate. Harriet sounds like a bit of a stiff, motherly sort of person, and Charlotte hits me the same way. Flora is beau…[Read more]

@seekjustice Yes, but when you’re speaking it you can’t tell the difference between Frances and Francis. It’s sort of like Aaron and Erin. Though those two are pronounced with a very slight variation, most people can’t tell the difference.
Nicknames for Adelaide? Adele, Addy, Addie, Lady, Aida, Day, Dae, shall I go on? 😛 (I’ve thought of se…[Read more]

@seekjustice Well, I really don’t like gender-neutral names, since there’s already too much of that going on in the world lately, so I don’t like Francis much at all. 🙁 sorry, sister of SeekJustice. 😀 Angelica is very nice, but almost too pretty, isn’t it? I like Adelaide a lot! (Not personally, but in comparison with Augustine, I mean. 😉 )…[Read more]

@seekjustice Yes, I knew a girl named Tabitha too, and she was nice. I just don’t happen to like the name. But it’s just my preference.
I do like those better, but…what station were Mr. and Mrs. Quillon? Augustine sounds pretty grandiose, while Tabitha, Abigail, and Bethany all sound like calico and sunbonnets. Augustine sounds more lik…[Read more]

@seekjustice Cool! One of my brothers plans to be a missionary pilot.
I’ll do that! Thanks. 😉
Well, I really don’t like the name Tabitha, but I guess you’re trying to get an old-fashioned, not-so-pretty name to match Augustine, right?
(Oh, or do you actually like the name Tabitha? I hope I didn’t just horrify you by calling it unpretty! Sorry…)

Rochellaine replied to the topic Writers' Corner #16 in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years ago
@seekjustice Do you know a lot of pilot jargon? 😛 I think you said something about knowing a pilot, but I don’t really remember.
Chara is, but Uncle Bill isn’t. I can’t tell when he’s going to be out of the hospital until I know what’s wrong with him, and at present I have no idea what’s wrong with him. 😛 Poor Uncle Bill! But anyway, he’…[Read more]

@seekjustice Well, during WWI the pilots could see each other pretty well since the planes weren’t as sealed in as they are now, right? I’ve read of dogfights where the pilots saw the expressions on their opponents’ faces sometimes.
Well actually right now it’s going okay. I think. 😛 I’m at a kind of boring part so I’m hoping I can get th…[Read more]
