@Jenwriter17 ooh nice topic. I don’t think I’ve really seen this before. 😛
My sentence/story: So small, so innocent—so far left to go.

@alia Oh. 🙂 It’s so sweet of you to remember! 😀
@skredder Thank you! Yes, I know what AUs are. 😉
@ariel-ashira @jenwriter17 Thank you!! 😀 Yes, I’m actually going downstairs to my birthday party now that the food is finally ready. 🙂 So goodbye for now, everyone! I hope to be back here possibly for a little bit in the afternoon or tonight.

@ariel-ashira I have noticed you calling yourself dumb or saying you think you make “dumb” comments or questions several times lately. I want you to know that none of us think you are dumb, and that asking questions is the only way you can learn, so if you don’t know something, of course you should ask about it! It’s not dumb to not know s…[Read more]

@skredder Yes, I was stuck a few days ago, but then Dragon Snapper taught me the amazing usefulness of word wars! I got a lot done racing against her, Sam Kowal, and Dekreel, so now I’m very happy with how it’s going. I’ve decided to do very minimal editing, and basically do it like a planned freewrite. That way I’ll get it finished quickly, an…[Read more]

@skredder I’ve heard you mention Clouded Fury a few times, but I don’t recall knowing what it’s about?
I’m working on a blog post about my western.

@dekreel Okaaay. I guess you’re right. I don’t have proof you didn’t know @daughteroftheking liked Star Trek. I do have proof that you and I talked about it more often before you and she began to talk about it:

What I meant was at the time of this conversation, you already knew my favorite series and character, and I knew yours, and we’d…[Read more]

People, the simple explanation is that I’m living in a dream world, and as long as I don’t realize I’m dreaming (i.e. when the dream resembles real life) I don’t control what happens in the dream. Once I realize I’m dreaming, if I’m having a good day and my imagination is strong enough, I can change the things in the dream.
(Can anyone else do…[Read more]

@ariel-ashira How would docile snakes be easier to disbelief than attacking ones? 😀 The ability to disbelief something comes from deciding not to believe in it, and I believe in snakes. The only way I could disbelief them would be if someone convinced me that they were fictional, since the Kingdom of Pen is fictional. I usually don’t ran…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 Since you’ve already got two prospective beta-readers in Seekjustice and Skredder, I think I’ll pass. I’d rather read the completed version. 🙂 I like reading things all at once. I’d be happy to do the second run of edits for you, if you let me read the book when you’re done with it.
And in the process if you have any more qu…[Read more]

@ariel-ashira I wasn’t apologizing for my beliefs. I was apologizing for the extra work that Warren and @dekreel will have to go through in order to satisfy them.
@warrenluther04 You didn’t tag me when you posted the new installment?! I had to find it on my own? 🙁 😀 Great job! It’s looking good.
Well, I’d be happy to help fight an army of…[Read more]

@filewriterbase13x That’s a good explanation of sci-fi, but I’d like to clarify that good sci-fi in the original form dealt mostly with assumed scientific facts, rather than purely fictional facts. If the “facts” are purely fictional with no basis in science as we know it, the work can be…[Read more]

@dekreel WHAT?!!! You gave @daughteroftheking her own starship?! What about ME? Does she really like Star Trek as much as I do? Has she ever been to a Star Trek convention?
N.C., I am so jealous. You had better let me visit your starship soon or I’ll…wait, you’re not a fictional creature? I can’t make you disappear? *ponders what to do whe…[Read more]

@Jenwriter17 All the best for writing and editing, friend! <3
I’m afraid I don’t have the time to beta read at the moment, but I hope you can find a heap of other people to help you. 🙂

@Jenwriter17 okay so I don’t want to go into full editor mode and scare you (been there, done that, it was bad xD) so what exactly are you looking for critique on? The general overall chapter? Or some more details like showing vs telling, etc.?

@seekjustice I actually won’t be hanging around much longer. 🙁 I’ve got a pretty big law school assignment to write, and as much as I’d like to say being on Writers’ Corner helps me write, it’s more of a distraction. 😀 It helps remind me to write, I’ll give it that. But just sitting down and deciding to write with no distractions is rea…[Read more]
