@ellette-giselle @ducktater
That’s true! Like in Mossflower, where the one mousethief just escapes. Hilarious yes, but dreadfully convenient. One can still save One’s character, but it needs to fit the rules.
Of course, to mix stuff up you can always make a master prison that has a weakness that both the good guys and the bad guys exploit. L…[Read more]

Yeah. *sigh* I think Fitz ought to die. He only seems to exist for romantic drama at this point.

I predict a close death for Keefe, and maybe somebody like Alden will die at the end. Maybe Wylie. But no one super important will die; there’s no way Messenger will do something permanent to the group. 😂

I am the person who is furious at the end of a book when my favorite character doesn’t die!! Why? Because the author cheated to save him! The mastermind villain makes a “mistake”. The unbreakable jail cell has a weakness no one who has been trying to break out for the last hundred years has discovered yet our hero just “stum…

Don’t worry, Rory is well loved.
That is precisely when worry is needed. The worst things happen to the best loved characters.
I can’t break the rules of the story just because I love a character. I hate it when authors do that.
Same. KotLC used to be one of my favorite series, but there have been 9 books, the stakes are sup…[Read more]

Ryla
Ryla nodded. Liko the handyman. And he did like cookies. She pulled out a small tin and handed it to him. “I baked these yesterday. They’re chocolate chip. You can have two.” She studied him as he took the tin. “What’s it like here? I’ve always been taught at home before.”

“Sí. Should we meet in the library?”
“Yeah, that’s perfect. Thank you.” She smiled.
*gasp* It’s a date!
“Or the time when—”
When what, Tyler? 👀 I want to know…

So you do Communion every week?
Indeed.
Haha, I guess it just comes down to tradition then! XD
Beliefs about alcohol are probably involved too. We don’t see anything wrong with drinking, (in moderation; don’t get drunk obviously), but I know a lot of traditions believe differently.

Mine’s pretty goofy too. I don’t regret it, but I’m a little concerned since I’m going to apply for a job soon. XD

I’ll probably start writing on a computer once I get my own, but I like paper because it’s so portable.
I just KNOW that when I get my license, I’m going to be the family errand girl, and I figure I should have a way to contact my parents from the store.
Or call 911 if I get kidnapped. XDWe have a house phone too, but my…[Read more] -

Yay!
I remember as a little kid, I wanted to have a surgery so I could have extra treats.
XD I used to be happy when I was in pain because I liked the taste of medicine. I also deliberately bashed my head into the ceiling hoping for an ice pack. XD

@whalekeeper hehe
writing rps where my characters are ticked off is always super fun, but then I feel instantly embarrassed after I post them.
Dante has officially been added to Alpha’s possible threat list….
lol there goes Dante’s free rent. At least he’s not underestimating him anymore.

Girl, I’m actually so scared that I’m gonna have to have surgery one day for some reason or another. 😭 It’s probably inevitable, but I just hate the idea of being dead asleep while being operated on. 😵💫 (Not that I’d LIKE to be awake… XDXD)
I don’t know, it would be such a dramatic experience… I bet you would feel one part stress, o…[Read more]

I always feel so embarrassed when people ask for my email, because it’s such a bad address name. My dad convinced me to use it when I was twelve, and I haven’t gotten a new address since. 😅
