one more book I can’t remember the name of where two children discover a hidden town by a lake during summer holidays. (All I remember is that the boy has braces, which remind the girl of a car’s bumper. I think the boy’s name was Julian.)
Gone-Away Lake! I love that book!

I could survive Laerylia during the beginning of the first book. I’d need to stay inside at night, carry a weapon, say nothing against the Sacrifice, not voice my support for President Lotan, avoid the High Priest, and not be at all powerful. After Lotan’s assassination, things get more complicated as those who have ever voiced support for him are…[Read more]

Celarent
Celarent picked himself up off the ground and dusted himself off, relieved that Mateo had let go of him. Somehow, the all consuming fear had left him. He turned to Bird Boy and gave him his most charming grin, hoping to fix the terrible first impression he’d just made. “Thank you. Where is this Foreign Culture class?”

What? I don’t… Oh. Oh! That’s funny. *Laughs so hard it sounds like a duck*

Felicity
“Uh huh. Real convincing.”
Chase looked uncomfortable.
“I know about a broken vending machine nearby that you can get free drinks out of,” Felicity continued. “I can show you if you want. Maybe that would cheer you up? Unless you’d rather go to class. Do you like soda?”

@whalekeeper @elishavet-pidyon
Lois
“I, well…” Lois adjusted his glasses, avoiding eye contact with the others. “Leaving isn’t really an option for me. Especially when I’m older. My family…” he trailed off, and they walked in silence for a moment.
Then he cleared his throat and continued.
“This school is my escape, I suppose. I’m just…[Read more]

I could see people getting confused and overwhelmed since there’s so many of them hahaha
This reminded me of a time a visitor to our church told my dad that the number of kids he had intimidated her. She was completely serious and never came back. There were only four of us at the time too. XD

Yayy success
Mateo would be right on the line of arson and murder, lol
I can add him in. XD it’s somewhat concerning how full those two categories are.
You hit the nail on the head. In-story, little Hugo steals rare spices because he wants to learn to make fancy pastries and tea leaves.
Hehe I knew it.
I could also see…[Read more]

It would definitely depend. Lol.
In Eirtan, I would stick out like a sore thumb, but the people are very nice. They might laugh at me, but one or two of the more respectable people would help me out. As long as I avoided Raiders and Dorwains and didn’t drown or suddenly become alergic to sheep, I would be fine. If I met up with the…[Read more]

Aw, Hugo.
Viktor
It was nice to be part of a group. The chipped plaster work on the ceiling smiled down at them from between florescent lights. Viktor adjusted his bag with a smile.
He would have offered to lend Lois his books, but he was relieved when Hugo had. Viktor had notes scribbled in the margins, and his…[Read more]

Those are splendid. XD I love it. That is pretty accurate. In cannon, Viktor almost gets arrested for existing in the wrong place at the wrong time. Hehe.
@ellette-gisselle Well, considering Leo is an international outlaw…. He’s probably seen the inside of prison a few times, if only in his dreams. XD
