I would never hold anyone back from ranting on romance cliches, as long as I’m able to rant too. 😛

I can’t even imagine how hard that would be for you. I’m very close to my family and I don’t think I’d cope very well with spending two months away from them living with someone I’d never met. I will definitely be praying for you.

@seekjustice *laughs* Thanks. Yep, Brant is my sassy problem child and I love him. *pats Brant’s head* *he glares at me* I must be off. Happy writing, guys!

“And stuff escalates from there” 😀 sounds like an example of my outlining 😛
It does sound pretty cool, especially a fairy named Brant and Rumplestiltskin.

@seekjustice I don’t mind! It’s about a girl named Katie, whose family are the guardians of a bridge to a magical island. But, magical creatures keep crossing the bridge, like they’re running from something. So, Katie’s father goes across the bridge to see what’s up and *dramatic pause* disappears. She and a grumpy fairy named Brant go to enlist…[Read more]

*bows* Â What’s your Red Riding Hood retelling about? If you don’t mind me asking.
I seem to be good at pairing characters up and getting them attracted to each other, however when it actually comes to helping them continue their relationship I have no idea. It doesn’t help that I’ve never been in a relationship…[Read more]

@rochellaine Working on my WIP, a Little red Riding Hood retelling. What are you up to?

*tips hat* Hello, Queen @seekjustice.

SeekJustice replied to the topic Writers' Corner #19 in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years ago
Yeah 😀 I mean, with how much I love him, how could I not? He will be an interesting character to explore, since he’s not a conventional sort of hero.
I briefly considered it, and then I remembered how much emotional strain romances put on me and I decided against it 😛 😛 Yes, Quillon gets the honour of being my first romance free…[Read more]

Quillon is my hero. Along with Chessy of course.
I know, but Zac is the antihero and I am oldfashioned in the fact that I tend to like the heroes over antiheroes.
I wouldn’t let you read my synopsis anyway, sorry 😛 My synopsis is private and I don’t want to give away all my special Scarlet Pimpernel twists. I do have a blurb s…[Read more]

I’m not really the sort of person who loves the villain, though I do feel sorry for some of them. The closest I come to liking one of my own villains would be Byrd, the villain in the third book, probably because he has a wife and daughter he loves, which makes him a bit more human than Caderousse and Theresa Caelan.
The reality is…[Read more]

@catwing Bye 😀
That’s true, I don’t like any of them, though I do feel I did a good job on several of them.
I do have rather a lot in the way of antiheroes, but they definitely aren’t my favourite characters. Just everyone else‘s favourite characters.
If Catwing is up to Chapter 3, she would have already met Quillon, I just went…[Read more]

@rochellaine I’m finally reading Seekjustice’s book!
@seekjustice *blinks* *squints* Why am I suspicious now…
(Agh! Favorite?! Is he a villian!?) -
SeekJustice replied to the topic Writers' Corner #19 in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years ago
@rochellaine WHOOOHOOOO!!!
I’ll most likely be here 😀 I’m doing a questionnaire thing for Quillon at the moment and I’m only halfway through.

@catwing That’s all right, he’ll turn up, though I can’t remember what chapter he appears in? Just when he does, you have to like him, okay?
(Well, you don’t have to, but…I’m the author and he is my favourite male character)
