    @sarahsmile

Welcome to the forum! I’m pretty new too. I’m a homeschooler, I want to be an actress / voice actress, and I’m a big fan of 80’s music.

    Questions!

1 – Do you have a favorite time period in history?

2 – Favorite kind of music / favorite song?

I can’t think of anything else right now.

What’s your opinion on the movies from that period? I know Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back was released in 1980, and the first Tron was released two years later.

I haven’t seen Tron, and Star Wars isn’t really my thing. I’m realizing now that I actually haven’t seen very many movies from the period, though I’d like to.

    I have seen o…[Read more]

I’ve been working on how to convey personality through body language
I have some old sketches of the A-Team, but I have one I did recently with the main characters from my WIP
How do I put pictures in an update so I can show you?

    • Hm…
      I’m not sure if that’s possible. 😕
Maybe you can just post it on the art sharing forum. 🙂

Ok, let me see if I got this. If I want to say “But what about Dragons?” I would say: Rahdooroo kooreemahroo mahrahdihdooroo Kahvihmahmeedihrihmoo?

Yes, that is correct! Dee kahdihrih’roo reemahkoosah mahrihvoorooreedeerihmee koodeerooree Kahvihmahmeedihrihmoo vihdeemeereeroo rihdihkoo rahdooroo rooreesahvoo’vihsah dah…[Read more]

I have this “interview” that I did to figure out more about Esia (I didn’t know she had an aunt, but apparently they’re very close)

Interviewer) Mind telling us a bit about yourself?
Esia) Absolutely! Um, okay… where to start? Oh! I know, obviously you’re probably wondering what’s up with my awesome fashion sense.
    I) Uh, no,…

Hearing more about Dahdihkahsah, I realized that my parents do the same thing! They speak with each other in a coded English when they don’t want us to know what they’re talking about😅🙃

Hah! I’m going to have to try that around my little brother sometime…

Would you like to learn Dahdihkahsah? (I may be looking for an excuse to…[Read more]

XD I’m having the same problem right now with my fan-fiction. I have a main character and I like him a lot but I’m more excited about the antagonist and his sister right now…

I also really like my antagonist(s) for this story! I don’t really want to say much more about my antagonist(s) because it’s a huge plot point, but hones…[Read more]

    1. What’s your story about?

Two girls, Jannira and Esia, who are currently training to be basically cops, but with magic weapons, and are trying to track down a gang of sort-of demons.

    2. Which characters of yours are you most excited about?

Even though Jannira is supposed to be the main character, I think I like Esia more, p…[Read more]

Have you heard of Petra? They’re an older Christian rock band and my siblings and I enjoy their music.

I think I’ve heard of them, but I haven’t gotten around to listening to them yet.

    Thanks for the reccomendation!

    Whats your favorite book series?

I’m currently reading The Ranger’s Apprentice, and it’s great!

Do you like to do any crafting or sports? (Kinda a random question, but I know some people, like me, don’t play any sports. I just like to run):D

I don’t do sports either really, but as far as crafting goes sometimes I’ll get a new thing I w…[Read more]

I’m slowly learning Spanish using an app, but in a year or two, I’ll be learning it in school.

Yeah, I’m also using an app (Duolingo). I think it helps me stay focused to just do a little bit but do it every single day.

Plus, the people there, [specifically Ireland] have great accents.

    I can’t believe I didn’t think of the accents! *facepalm* You…[Read more]

    1. Coffee, tea, or neither? Why?

I don’t drink coffee. I typically drink water, but when I have tea I like fruity tea with probably too much sugar.

    2. What’s your favorite and least favorite subject in school? And why?

I’m not sure. I’m currently focusing on Spanish – I think knowing other languages would be a good skill for doing a…[Read more]

Hard worldbuilding just means more rigorously defined worldbuilding. Like a hard magic system is a magic system where all the rules are figured out, and the reader likely knows how a lot of it works. Think worlds from Tolkien, Brandon Sanderson, Patrick Rothfuss, ect. Then soft worldbuilding is worldbuilding where things are less…

I decided recently that my favorite song is Slow To Wrath by Apologetix – They’re a christian parody band, and this particular song is a parody of Photograph by Def Leppard which I really like the music part of Def Leppard’s music but not always the lyrics, and the Apologetix lyrics are something I…[Read more]
