@seekjustice Speaking of wolves…but actually not speaking of wolves, how do you pronounce “coyote” in Australia? The pronunciation of “coyote” is the way I tell if an actor in a Western movie is truly from the West or not. 😛 Even if they fake the accent, they usually don’t realize there’s a different pronunciation of that word, and it gives them away. But I think the British pronounce it the Western way, so I’m just wondering about the Australian pronunciation."Sylvester - Sylvester!"

@seekjustice We Easterners pronounce it the same way. It’s funny, but the Westerners pronounce it the way it’s spelled according to the “official” rules of English, meaning, the “e” is silent, and is relevant only to tell you what sound to give the “o”. It’s pronounced “Kai-oat”.
So if an actor in an American Western pronounces it the way you would usually do, he/she’s from somewhere else, and faking the Western accent. 😉
