Well, work expands to fill up all available time. I just wish I had more time for writing.
I think I should take a personal retreat to do my writing. Not anytime soon since it is still my first year working. But I could probably do it next year.

I know what you mean. I’ve hardly had any time for writing lately (partly my own fault).
A writing retreat sounds like a really cool idea. I’d love to do that myself one day. It’d probably help me focus on editing a little better 😀
I’ve actually been going pretty well with that. I got lunch made for my brothers and sister and a few housekeeping tasks and I’ve sat down to write. I’ve got 1,000 words so far, which is more than I’ve done in ages. I was a little motivated by the Guild word war on SE too 😛
Unfortunately, since I’m doing a short King Arthur/Little Mermaid retelling, I keep stopping to look up items of Arthurian mythology. The Questing Beast was the last one.
