And it’s not something that can be skipped either because my character’s thought process and motivation must be clearly established so that her decision makes sense.

If your character could rename themselves, what name would they choose?

I would say losing her power, her privileges and her family… but right now, I would say losing her son.
My question: Let’s say all the main characters in your book are now one big happy family. Ignoring the restrictions of age and gender, what roles would each of your characters take? (Who will be the father, the mother, the older sibling, the youngest child etc.)

I don’t think Myeongwol has any inclination to change her name but considering her situation, she does rename herself in the story but that’s a spoiler so I won’t share it. 😛
